Die beiden Tasten bieten Fußschalter-Bypass und Drehzahlregelung, so dass der Benutzer zwischen zwei verschiedenen Geschwindigkeits-und Vibe Einstellungen wechseln kann. The new SwirlPool Tremolo/Vibe pedal is Amptweaker’s first dive into non-distortion pedals, and was the most commonly requested pedal by consumers on Amptweaker’s website. Reminiscent of the synchronized Tremolo and Vibrato circuits common in some vintage 60’s amplifiers, this analog pedal can duplicate many different types of modulation tones....as well as invent a few new ones.

The two footswitch buttons provide bypass and speed control, allowing the user to switch between two different Speed and Vibe settings while sharing a common Tremolo control. If a Vibe knob is turned down, then the sound will be only tremolo, and can be tweaked from smooth to 'Jerky'....but as the Vibe is added, the resulting combination can provide a subtle vocal quality or a dramatic pitch shift.

Other switches help you really fine-tune the vibrato in the pedal.....one called Surf that adjusts the vibe’s tone to a more dramatic 'swimmy' vibrato, 2 switches that slide the phase between the Tremolo and Vibe LFOs, and even a switch to turn on ramping between speeds. By using these in various combinations(see the Suggested Settings Below), it’s easy to get many different tremolo, vibe, and rotary speaker tones made famous in the 60’s and 70’s which are still commonly used today. There’s even a master volume control so you can easily balance or boost the volume compared to when bypassed.

Das dichtere, dunklere FatMetal-Distortion arbeitet perfekt direkt in den Clean Kanal eines Amps oder als Vorverstärker direkt in die Endstufe. Es ist für Gitarristen gedacht, die eine wärmere Distortion suchen, die besser zu hell klingenden Gitarren und Verstärkern passt, weniger auf Palm-Muting abzielt aber trotzdem gut mit Tremolo-Picking ala Black Metal funktioniert. Was die Features angeht ist es identisch mit dem TightMetal, aber der Sound wurde optimiert, um den niedrigeren Frequenzbereich Bereich von Tight- und Tone-Regler zu erweitern. Der hinzugefügte Black Gain-Schalter erhöht den Gain, um den dicken, satten Gain zu liefern, nach dem diese Genres verlangen. Der Thrash-Schalter wandelt den Grundton in einen schwereren, mid-scooped Tone um, der sich perfekt für klassische Vintage-Metal-Sounds eignet. Black Gain modifiziert den Klang in einen sehr dichten und extremen Metal Tone. Das Noise Gate wurde ebenfalls optimiert, um es flüssiger arbeiten zu lassen und mit den reduzierten Höhen des FatMetals noch besser zu klingen. Eine weitere coole Amptweaker-Funktion dieses Pedals ist der SideTrak -Effekt-Loop der aktiviert wird, wenn das Pedal im Bypass ist quasi wie eine integrierte A / B-Box.

The thicker, darker FatMetal distortion works perfectly into a clean channel or as a preamp into an effects return or power amp. It is designed for players who want a warmer distortion that workes better with brighter guitars and amps, but also is less aimed at palm-muted metal, and works better for tremolo-picking Black metal. Featurewise it is identical to the TightMetal but its tone has been tweaked to extend the low range of the Tight and Tone controls. The added Black Gain switch boosts the gain to get the thicker, buzzier gain required for those genres. The Thrash switch converts the basic tone into a heavier, more mid-scooped tone for classic vintage metal tones. Black Gain modifies the sound into a very thick and extreme metal tone that. Its noise gate has also been retweaked to make it smoother, and to sound even better with the reduced highs of the FatMetal. Another cool Amptweaker feature on this pedal is the SideTrak effects loop.that turns on when the pedal is being bypassed ...it's like having a built-in A/B box.

Das BluesFuzz Jr Fuzz Pedal basiert auf dem BluesFuzz Limited, einem begehrten auf 49-Stück limitierten Modell, das einen Germanium-Transistor mit niedrigem Gain mit Boost-, Mid-EQ- und Tight-Attack-Schalter besaß. Es verfügt über die meisten der Optionen, auf seinem großen Bruder zu finden sind, wobei einige Features, die viele Gitarristen nicht benötigen eingespart wurden, um Größe und Gewicht zu reduzieren. Abgeleitet von der Pro-Serie wurden Tight-Regler und Fat-Schalter in einen 3-Positionen-Fat / Normal / Tight-Schalter umkonfiguriert, um das Attack von dick und heavy zu aggressiv und clunky zu verändern. Da dieses Modell verfügt über einen Germanium-Transistor mit geringem Gain und einen Input Boost um dichtere Fuzz Sounds zu erhalten. Und um die wichtigen Mitten hinzu zu blenden, gibt es einen Mid-Regler, wie beim Original-BluesFuzz. The BluesFuzz Jr fuzz pedal is based on the BluesFuzz Limited, a sought-after 49 piece model that used a low gain germanium transistor with boost, mid EQ, and Tight attack switch. It shares most of the tone-tweaking features available on its larger counterpart, while eliminating some features most players don't need in order to shrink down the size and weight. Derived from the Pro series, the Tight control and Fat switches were re-configured into a 3-position Fat/Normal/Tight switch to dial in the attack of the notes from thick and heavy to aggressive and chunky. Since this model uses a low gain germanium transistor, an input boost is included to give thicker fuzz tones. And to help dial in the all-important mid frequencies, there's a Mid control that matches the tone of the original BluesFuzz when set in the middle. The ingenious automatically adjusting bias on the Fuzz controls keeps the sweet spot at hand, and is especially nice for cleaner tones.

The DepthFinder is an active boost-only EQ pedal that simulates the tube amp Resonance and Presence controls, but without having to be done in the power amp. This means you can use it with an amp that doesn’t have Resonance and Presence, by patching it in the effects loop. It also works great for building a pedalboard direct signal, since that low damping factor is a key ingredient to the overall tone. It can easily make a solid state amp sound and feel more like a tube amp, and can actually widen the bandwidth since it boosts at very low and very high frequencies.

James Brown (no, not the Godfather of Soul), the ingenious amp tinkerer, has grabbed the good old Fuzz pedal and combined vintage sound with contemporary technology. As usual with Amptweaker, the Tightfuzz pedal offers a wide range of control options, which make the pedal incredibly flexible. Fuzzpedals often have problems with modern, buffered effect pedals. Vintage fuzz pedals are tuned to the high impedance of a guitar pickup and sound very strange with low impedance signals. Amptweaker has solved the problem by developing a special buffer circuit, which simulates a guitar pickup and is connected to the fuzz circuit. Unusually also the Fuzz Pot: both Fuzz intensity as well as the BIAS of the transistors is simultaneously influenced. The Tightfuzz can easily be integrated into modern pedalboards and delivers a variety of convincing sounds.
