Transparency isn’t a myth

It is with the Savage that the Anasounds journey really began.
Since many guitarists wanted this famous “transparent” overdrive made popular by John Mayer, Jeff Beck or Joe Perry (Aerosmith), and the genuine one became unaffordable on the second hand market, we started to propose replicas and progressively modified some parts of the circuit to get the most musical version possible.

Savage MKI

La Grotte is the new analog spring reverb by Anasounds. It may look like a mere evolution of the Element with the spring inside the main pedal, but in fact it offers a brand new sound and brand new features, designed in close collaboration with Jack White for his Third Man Hardware brand.

At its core, La Grotte is a mechanical reverb that includes a three-spring tank, but it also features a warm preamp with a distinct sonic personnalité, and a very powerful two-band EQ that only affects the reverberated sound. Independent volume settings for the dry and wet sounds allow you to find the perfect balance you’ve been searching for.

La Grotte is a secret weapon of choice on the pedalboard of any demanding guitar player, regardless of their musical approach: vintage or modern, blues or pop, garage or soul. Other musicians and sound engineers alike will also enjoy the sonic depths of La Grotte.
