Spite Box is a distortion and fuzz box featuring an upper octave crossover distortion preamp, a saturated full range distortion circuit, and a powerful active bass boost. These three stages work together to build deep, complex tones ranging from traditional bass distortion to resonant clanging walls of bass fuzz chaos. In short, this fuzz captures our favorite bass sounds from the venerable Damnation Audio Ugly Twin Boosted Octave Fuzz but sporting a ground up custom redesign.

The Damnation Audio Dirtmixer is an update to the original True Bypass Loop Blender. It is designed to blend just the right amount of contoured low end into a heavily distorted bass tone. The Dirtmixer expands on the original's legacy by adding a selectable Dry Blend Contour to maintain bass clarity in any mix.

New for Winter 2019 (and beyond!!!)  The MBD-2 is the long awaited follow up to our successful MBD-1 MOSFET Bass Distortion.  The heart of the MBD-2 is the same bass loving distortion as the original but with a few enhancements customers have begged for (and up until recently we’ve looked down from our high horse and said, “No”).

Those enhancements include: a smaller enclosure (with top-jacks of course!!!), an external boost switch capable of adding 20dB of gain to transport the internal MOSFETs into valhala, silent bypass switching for quiet stages (what are those???), and of course a sexy new look.  This compact evolution of the MBD-1 can fit on smaller boards so you no longer have to decide between crushing bass distortion and your Altoids tin.

The Damnation Audio MOSFET Bass Distortion, simply referred to as the MBD, is the long awaited follow up to our original MBD-1 and MBD2 bass distortion pedals. The heart of the MBD is the same bass-loving distortion as the original, but with a few enhancements customers have longed for.
Those enhancements include a boost footswitch with a boost control providing over 30dB of additional gain and the inclusion of our newly designed contoured clean blend.
