Kopfhörerverstärker mit Lautsprecher-Simulation und Bluetooth
Der Darkglass Element ist ein praktischer Kopfhörerverstärker für Gitarristen und Bassisten, der sich als ideales Tool zum Üben, Proben, Aufnehmen oder Monitoring entpuppt. Dementsprechend vermitteln hochwertige Lautsprechersimulationen auf Basis von Impulse-Responses ein besonders natürliches Spielgefühl, sowohl mit dem eigenen Pedalboard als auch mit Modelern oder am Direct-Out eines Verstärkers. Während der USB-C-Anschluss das Laden eigener Impulse-Responses gestattet, können über Bluetooth oder die Aux-In-Buchse Backing-Tracks wiedergegeben werden. Außerdem stellt der Kopfhörerverstärker einen symmetrischen XLR-Ausgang für den direkten Anschluss an Mischpulte oder Audio-Interfaces bereit. Als absolutes Highlight des Darkglass Element erweist sich außerdem die intuitive Bedienung über Touch-Sensoren.

The Darkglass Element is a practical headphone amplifier for guitarists and bassists that turns out to be the ideal tool for practicing, rehearsing, recording or monitoring. Accordingly, high-quality loudspeaker simulations based on impulse responses convey a particularly natural playing feel, whether you play with your own pedal board, with modelers or at the direct-out of an amplifier. While the USB-C connection allows you to load your own impulse responses, backing tracks can be played back via Bluetooth or the Aux-In socket. The headphone amplifier also provides a balanced XLR output for direct connection to mixing consoles or audio interfaces. Another highlight of the Darkglass Element is the intuitive operation via touch sensors .

Das Darkglass Microtubes B7K im bonedo-Test – Nachdem das Overdrivepedal B3K des Effektentwicklers Darkglass einen hervorragenden bonedo-Test absolviert hat, sind wir natürlich gespannt auf die sonstigen Entwicklungen aus der Werkstatt des Wahl-Finnen Douglas Castro. Für unseren heutigen Darkglass-Test haben wir uns das Flaggschiff des Herstellers kommen lassen: Das Microtubes B7K ist das flexibelste Gerät im Portfolio und verfügt neben der Overdrivesektion des kleinen B3K über einen Vierband-EQ und zwei weitere Ausgänge inklusive DI-Box-Funktionalität.

Mit dem Darkglass Electronics NSG präsentiert der finnische Effektpedal- und Bass-Amp-Hersteller ein sehr hochwertig gefertigtes Noisegate-Pedal, das allein schon aufgrund seines asketisch anmutenden Designs aus der Menge heraussticht. Lediglich mit einem Regler ausgestattet bietet es die Einstellung des Thresholds und mit Soft-Mode und Hard-Mode zwei Arbeitsweisen des Gates – mehr nicht! Ob sich das NSG klanglich mit seinem radikalen Ansatz von den Mitbewerbern absetzt, soll dieser Test herausfinden.

The NSG: Noise Gate comes as a response to these annoyances. Utilizing an adjustable threshold level to filter out sounds below a certain threshold, allowing for only the desired audio to be seized.
