Perseus is a bronze sculpture made by Benvenuto Cellini, located in the Loggia dei Lanzi of Piazza della Signoria in Florence. The statue is famous for its languid pose and its excessive attention to details which make it unique. Perseus is represented with a dry physique and muscles pulled, intent on showing the head of Medusa, severed by a sword strike. The imaginary wants the blow to be fast and energetic. It seems impossible that all that strength came out of that slim and angelic body. The Perseus Boost is just so, simple for its control but, like a blade strike, it is extremely sharp and cared for in detail. It is an easy to use product, because it has only one control and, like Perseus, it is very powerful. (20db).

Da Vinci has fully embodied the spirit of the Renaissance. He was a painter, a draftsman, a sculptor, an architect and an engineer. It is like having enclosed in one single figure all the human knowledge. Not by chance the compressor of the Da Vinci experience is dedicated to Leonardo, with the will to indicate thatinside. The pedal were “tablets” all this knowledge. A singular effect arises , simple in its use but extremely sensitive in the setting and important in the chain effects.

Michelangelo combines the Dynamism of valve sound with the definition of a pedal effect.

The heart of Michelangelo is made entirely of JFET transistors, which characterize a dynamic and warm sound recreating the effect produced by a Tube (Valve) head.

Thanks to the three position switch it is possible to select three distortion modes with silicon, germanium and JFET semiconductors.

The possibility to choose the type of distortion makes Michelangelo extremely flexible, with distortions that offer the whole range from a boost, to light crunch, to overdrive up to a very defined distortion typical of the one produced by a valve head.

Another great feature of Michelangelo is the presence of a preamplifier and an output boost, both separately controllable and activated through a dedicated “BOOST” footswitch.
