Don't let the label fool you, the EBS MicroBass II is no small or compact preamp, rather it is a full featured dual channel preamp and DI Box.

It comes packed with knobs and switches, giving extensive control over the resulting sound and tone shaping.

It has switchable "tube emulation" circuitry that is based on the ones used on EBS' bass amplifier heads. This allows the pedal to replicate everything from solid state clean sound to distorted timbres.

With its A/B channel switcher and blender, you get flexible signal routing that allows the use of two different bass guitars, processing of a stereo/split signal and much more.

THE EBS OCTABASS BLUE LABEL PUSHES THE BOUNDARIES FOR WHAT HAS BEEN SEEN AS POSSIBLE WITH AN ANALOG OCTAVE EFFECT. THE QUALITY AND CHARACTER OF THE OCTAVE TONE, AS WELL AS THE PRECISION AND SPEED OF THE TRACKING, ARE OUTSTANDING.   
The EBS OctaBass was the first effect unit ever made by EBS. It is famous for fast and accurate tracking and a fat, natural sound. When you play your instrument, it "tracks" the note you play and produce a sound one octave below to mix in with the note you play.  The 'Blue Label' model has a couple of new features that enhance the tracking range and improves the control of the sound.
