As the Plumes® Small Signal Shredder continues to defy our wildest sales expectations, we decided to crank it down a couple of notches and design a similar circuit that is ideal for bass players and all purveyors of low end.

Behold the mighty Blumes® Low Signal Shredder, the first EarthQuaker device created specifically for bass players! The industrious Blumes is also the perfect pedal for guitarists’ deep overdrive needs, especially for the drop-tuned masters.

While embodying most of the kick ass characteristics and features of the Plumes, we went ahead and modified this circuit with double the gain and a deeper bass response to retain all the low end. Lower gain settings provide all of the crunchy tone found in the Plumes, but once you get above noon on the gain control, that’s where the similarities stop. Now you’re in bass country, baby!

With the Rainbow Machine EarthQuaker Devices delivers a unique digital pitch shifting synthesizer specially developed for experimenters and noise makers. This limited edition version of the Disaster Transport™ pedal has been redesigned so the delay line reduces the noise floor and improves the quality of the delay. The output is boosted with a cleaner mixing section; it’s now filtered to sound more like an analog delay than any of the previous versions. This delay pedal sits perfectly in the background with more of an evolved ambiance to it, but it can be dialed in for more of a dramatic effect of your choosing.
A Mod Mode switch has been added that allows you to choose between bending (Bend) and stretching (Stretch) the modulation wave. The Bend setting offers a subtler vibe closer to a traditional chorus sound, while the new Stretch option gives you loads of pitch-stretching modulation to run wild with. 
The newly added Mod Speed three-position toggle switch offers Slow (S), Fast (F), and Medium (M) settings. 
The newly designed enclosure features knobs to control the Speed, Intensity, Mix, Repeats, and Time, with Modulate and Activate Switches, making this a highly customizable pedal to get the delay sound of your dreams. Thanks to the ramp modulation circuitry, you can turn the delay time down and start to use feedback and modulation at a higher setting to harness a bizarre modulator and achieve subtle to wild chorus-type effects. Or set your delay time how you want to set it and use your modulation rates to set your tempo, so you can strum or pluck to the climbs and drop offs to match your riffs. The possibilities are endless.

The Bows is a Germanium preamp designed around a rare NOS OC139 black glass transistor. For being a little one-knobber the Bows wears many hats. Right out of the box it's got several tone shaping abilities spread between two modes: Full and Treble. Full mode is warm with a lot of body and low end. Treble mode is a resonant, treble booster with a “cocked wah” tone that can drive any tube amp into harmonic rich distortion territory. Each mode has a little bit of grit to start with, but as you get passed 12 o'clock on either setting their subtleties are accented. The vowel-like sound out of the Treble side will be more prevalent as you bring the Level up. Doing the same on Full mode will get you a nice, full bodied crunch tone that retains clarity. Place any drive pedal before the Bows and it's another story. Full mode turns a dirt signal into a crumbling wall of sonic chaos, while Treble mode becomes an ultimate lead tone. Each and every Bows is built one at a time by real life human beans in the temperature controlled bubble of Akron, Ohio.

This device is true bypass and uses relay based “soft touch” switching. Audio will not pass without power.
