Is a tube screamer or rat clone not really your thing?  Are most fuzzes too unreliable for you?  Check out the Geranium Germanium Drive.  An original design combining a single NOS germanium transistor with op amps, the Geranium goes from a medium drive to full-on fuzz with all the lovely colors germanium brings to the table.

The Geranium uses noiseless relay switching and has 5 controls: Level, Scoop, Drive, Bias, and Bright.  The drive varies from light to heavy, but can be pushed even harder if you employ another boost before it.  It operates on 9V, but boosts that internally to 32V,  giving maximum power to the op amp stages in order to really drive the germanium transistor.  The Scoop control allows you to scoop out some mids, if you so desire to have a little tighter sound.  The Bias switch allows you to switch between two different voicings of the germanium stage, giving you even more tonal options.  The bright switch adds highs back into the drive. Geranium Germanium Drive

Do you love those little fuzzies floating on a summer breeze?  Take a listen to the Dandelion Tremolo!  It’s an analog optical tremolo with digital controls.  As you may know, there are two different types of tremolo, standard and harmonic.  The Dandelion has both, with 3 voicings for the harmonic tremolo.  Harmonic tremolo stems from classic amps of the past with a warbly, almost vibrato like feel.  Standard tremolo is what most guitarists think of when they think of tremolo: varying the volume up and down.

Castilleja Phaser

The Lupine is actually 2 fuzz pedals in one compact 125B enclosure, complete with an extra set of input and output jacks if you want to put the two sides of the Lupine at different points in your signal chain. The Purple Lupine is an updated version of our original Lupine Analog Octave Up pedal, which is based on octave circuits of classic octave fuzzes of the past. The Blend control allows you to blend between your clean signal and the octave up circuit and the Level control allows you to set your output volume. What’s new to this version of the Lupine is the Gain control, which allows you to control the gain into the octave circuit, ranging from a subtle, sputtery octave up to a blaring and piercing octave sound that’ll probably make you want to turn your tone knob down. Paired with this octave fuzz is the new JFET based fuzz circuit on the Cream side of the pedal. The Cream Lupine consists of 3 controls, Input, Bias, and Output, all of which interact with each other. Input sets the input level to the fuzz circuit and works like the volume knob on your guitar with a treble bleed. The Bias control sets the bias of the main gain stage of the circuit, which can give you a range from gated or sputtery fuzz to a smooth, heavy distortion. Output then sets the overall output level from the fuzz. Using these controls you can go all the way from lighter overdrive sounds to fat, heavy fuzz!
