FREE THE TONE’s first low-gain drive pedal “RED JASPER” Smooth highs, punchy mids, full but tight lows, sensitive, responsive, natural and pleasing compression feel. FREE THE TONE’s first low gain overdrive pedal “RED JASPER” has been designed to obtain these magical attributes that only superb vintage tube amps can usually produce.

The RED JASPER amplifies the guitar’s original sound faithfully, adopting a passive type tone circuit to minimize phase errors in the guitar signal and obtain a natural tone. With first priority placed on sound, a slightly larger die-cast case is adopted.

RJ-1V Red Jasper Overdrive

The FREE THE TONE SOV-2 OVERDRIVE uses a high performance DC-DC converter for its internal power supply circuit and drives its signal circuit by supplying ±15 Vdc, providing natural amplification of guitar sound and characteristics.

The SOV-2 with ample overtones features singing overdrive tone that can express subtle picking nuances as differences in timber.

“Creation of a new sound” ― this was the motto for the development of FREE THE TONE “FUTURE FACTORY” FF-1Y. Many digital delay units that implement a modulation function have been introduced to date. In general, the phase of a low frequency oscillator (LFO) used in these modulation circuits changes regularly at a preset cycle. However in our “FUTURE FACTORY,” we succeeded in creating a new modulation sound with a unique method in which signal’s phase changes at random when the signal crosses a certain attenuation level. This creates an unprecedented effect in which a fluctuating spacious sound seems to float in the air. (This function works best when used in Stereo mode.)
