The Fuzzrocious Pedals Cat Tail is a low to high gain distortion with overdrive capabilities, some even say at high gain settings, the Fuzzrocious Pedals Cat Tail sounds like a fuzz.  The Fuzzrocious Pedals Cat Tail circuit is based on a well loved, classic distortion that make a clean amp dirty and a dirty amp disgusting.  Fuzzrocious Pedals have tweaked the original circuit to better meet the needs of guitarists and bassists alike.  With the addition of a diode toggle for extra tweakability for clipping options, Fuzzrocious Pedals have added to the modifications the Beavis double resistor mod (Clipping 1 and 2 pots) to allow the user to subtly fine tune how the signal clips on the highs and lows

Cat Tail

We’re back, baby! Dark Driving started as a one knob OD/distortion, grew to a three knob version, took a li’l rest, and now it’s back and ready to live on your pedalboard. In this new version, you can replicate the old DD sounds and do so much more.

Alongside some small changes internally, we’ve added a clean boost after the traditional DD circuit to allow you to stay above unity gain and add more volume to push your amp and/or other pedals. We’ve changed the Light/Dark mod to a toggle and made the brightness and warmth more dramatic. You can select no diode clipping to open up your drive with less compression or add in BAT46 diodes to clip with more aggression and warmth.

Dark Driving v3

The Cat King is the “king sized” version of our Cat Tail, a low to high gain distortion with overdrive capabilities (some even say at high gain settings, it sounds like a fuzz). This circuit is based on a well-loved, classic distortion that make a clean amp dirty and a dirty amp disgusting. We have tweaked the original circuit to better meet the needs of guitarists and bassists alike. With the addition of a diode toggle for extra tweakability for clipping options, we have added to the modifications the Beavis double resistor mod (Clipping 1 and 2 pots) to allow the user to subtly fine tune how the signal clips on the highs and lows.

CAT KING

The GREY STACHE is based upon the GGG-tuned and Civil War versions of a muff fuzz, creating one versatile guitar AND bass-friendly monster! The tone stack features the ability to scoop mids to allow a heavy, deep sound, flatten the mids for an even-keeled sound, or boost the mids for a more modern sound that allows one to punch through in the mix and drive speakers well. It’s more than just a fuzz in that if you dial back the sustain, one can achieve more of an overdrive sound.
