Stoner Metal, Doom, Sludge. I've decided to build a pedal that delivers the unearthly tones that are identified with these three subgenres.

Instead of trying to emulate a classic amp, I've designed a pedal that covers a lot of ground and enables you to dial your own tone using your amp. Weather it is a solid state combo or a big tube amp, the Sludge hammer will turn the clean channel of an amp into a formidable riff-worthy beast.

A powerful new tremolo that represents our effort to make effects pedals that are more connected to experience than ever.

A clear and lush analog signal path is brought to bear with some of the most expansive waveform controls ever offered in a compact tremolo. The seven waveforms include not only the standards of guitar tremolo but reintroduce some of our favorite more synth-related waveforms like sawtooth, pulse and random. Three (footswitch) hold functions bring new capabilities to tremolo pedal users and make the Drifter a fully immersive experience for players who can master a more expressive control-set than ever.

Drifter

A wide range of gain is at your hand. From thick British crunch through 80's hot- roded tube amp sounds into total metal mayhem. Two interactive tone controls (Tone & Mid) gives this pedal endless distortion flavors and sweet spots. Use them in conjunction and tune in your sound. You can also switch them off by turning the tone knob all the way down and using the Mid knob as a standard passive tone control. this gives you a more open distortion with lots of headroom that can boost the gain of a dirty amp without overpowering it.

Nobrainer

A blend of silicon and germanium transistors pushed to near melting point, creates a variety of intense and powerful fuzz tones, from 60s psychedelic garage fuzz to extreme uncompromising stoner growl.

The health knob has a dramatic effect on the way this pedal acts and sounds.

Fully clockwise, the fuzz is at its best shape - aggressive , jumpy and loud.

Turn the health down and make it sweat - this fuzz sounds crazier as it struggle to fight back.

Finally it submits and delivers a sweet gargle, making your guitar sound like a disrupted brass instrument.

Remedy

The past is only a sonic guide with this versatile and highly-capable drive/distortion. As your guitar signal enters the Outlier it receives a hero’s welcome with nearly every amenity imaginable.

Consider the internal signal chain: Op-Amp Buffered Input > Op-Amp Gain Stage > FET Gain Stage > Op-Amp Gain Stage > Cabinet Simulator > Active EQ > Volume Control > BJT Output Buffer. What does this even mean?! The Outlier represents the miniaturization of a whole series of circuitry functions and combines them into one unit while disguising their capability in an easy to use drive pedal with typical controls that can access all the power and control that the complex structure offers. 3 cascading gain-stages seamlessly glide from low gain settings that sound full and robust to high gain settings that lack nothing for dynamic and definable complete saturation. Active EQ makes the difference in allowing the user to take true control of tonal shaping rather than the reductive process of passive EQ.
