The Greer Amps Custom Shop SOUL THRUST FUZZ UNIT is an amazing sounding fuzz.  This pedal is a two transistor fuzz pedal, utilizing NOS BC107B transistors.  The Soul Thrust Fuzz Unit is built on a vintage style tag strip, with amplifier grade components, including 1 watt Carbon Film resistors, full size Bourns pots, and a mix of Panasonic ECQ and Mallory 150 type capacitors.  This pedal features Volume and Frequency controls.  The Frequency control allows for a wide range of tone.  Fuzz is controlled by the guitar's volume control--want less fuzz?  Roll your guitar volume down a bit, and the level of fuzz will decrease!  This pedal sounds like a cross between a Germanium FF type fuzz, and a "Bender" type fuzz...mean and aggressive, this thing will kick out the meaty grind you're looking for!

The very idea for the Lamplighter Optical Compressor is rooted in legendary tone and studio lore. The Lamplighter is the result of countless hours of tweaking, listening, and tweaking again. The idea is pretty simple—provide compression that doesn’t “step” on your tone like other compressors do, make it as transparent as possible, with a low noise floor, while allowing the effect to be present, and provide options that musicians the world over have asked for. This is Greer Amps’ answer to the question of wide-ranging, useable compression for all musicians. After listening to studio compressors for years, we’ve often wondered why we couldn’t find something to get the smooth and subtle compression that we hear in the studio, on a pedal board. Die Entwicklung des Super Hornet hat lange gedauert...zumindest in Nicks Kopf. Basierend auf einer ganz besonderen FOXX Tone Machine in Nicks Sammlung ist dieses Pedal ein Favorit im Laden, wenn es um Fuzz und alles, was oktaviert, geht. Wir haben die Grundbausteine des Vintage-Schaltkreises genommen, sie optimiert, ein wenig Spezialsoße in das Design eingebracht, indem wir NOS BC-107B-Transistoren verwendet haben, und eine zusätzliche Funktion in den Mix geworfen. Du wirst bemerken, dass es einen Oktav-Kippschalter gibt, wie bei den Vintage-Geräten, nach denen diese Pedale gestylt sind... aber das ist nicht nur ein einfacher An/Aus-Kippschalter. Wenn der Kippschalter im STINGER-Modus ist, wird der STINGER-Taster aktiv. Du kannst einfach auf den Taster treten, um den OCTAVE für einen Lead-Lauf zu aktivieren, dann den STINGER-Schalter loslassen, um zum normalen Fuzz zurückzukehren, oder sogar den Schalter antippen, um die Oktave ein- und auszuschalten. Diese Funktion ist absolut genial.

The Super Hornet has been a long time in the making…at least in Nick’s mind. Based on one very special FOXX Tone Machine in Nick’s collection, this pedal is a shop favorite when it comes to fuzz and anything octave. We took the basic building blocks of the vintage circuit, tweaked it, put a little bit of special sauce in the design by using NOS BC-107B transistors, and threw an added feature in the mix. You’ll notice that there is an octave toggle, like on the vintage units that these pedals are styled after…but, that’s not just a straight-forward on/off toggle. When the toggle is in STINGER mode, the momentary STINGER switch becomes active. You can simply stand on the momentary switch, to engage the OCTAVE for a lead run, then come off of the STINGER switch to return to normal fuzz, or even tap the switch, to flutter the octave on and off. This feature is absolutely awesome.

Super Hornet

The Greer Amps Moonshot is our take on a true classic circuit. This pedal is inspired by vintage Germanium preamp circuits of days gone past. Featuring two controls, the Moonshot has a great tonal range, and can provide wonderful texture, when pushing the front end of an amplifier. The Treble/Mid control allows the player to set this pedal as a treble booster, or roll some extra low-end into the circuit, giving more midrange girth and grunt from the Germanium AC-128 transistor. The Master Volume control allows the user to push an amp into snarly overdrive. The Moonshot’s circuit features a voltage inverter, to run the transistor in proper, positive ground mode, while using a standard negative ground power supply.

Moonshot Germanium Pre

The Lightspeed Organic Overdrive is a very natural sounding overdrive. Why "organic"?  Well, simply put, it's the clearest, most natural feeling, and best overdrive we've heard for the player looking for a natural drive tone.  Blending with the tone of the guitar and amplifier, this pedal has rich harmonics and complex but smooth clipping. The Lightspeed Overdrive is sensitive to pick attack and has a different "feel" than other overdrives. The Lightspeed can be set to be "transparent," but can also drive your signal to the edge.
