The Tim Pierce Signature OD/Boost was designed to emulate one of Tim’s favorite amps, the Naylor SD60. This is a very smooth, warm, punchy drive made to really shine with singing leads. The Power Amp section is fat and loud with nothing but punch, designed to emulate the sound of a full blown tube power amp using 5881′s.

Both sides can be used separately or cascaded together, giving you a distinct 2 in 1 pedal.

The power amp section was created to emulate the 5881 servo tube found in the Naylor SD60. Even if you engage the “power amp” section at unity volume, it will add a certain amp-like fatness to your overall sound. You can also use it as a solo boost as wel

J. Rockett Audio Designs legt das Animal OD in seiner Tour Series neu auf. Das Effektpedal soll den Sound eines aufgerissenen 1968er „Plexis“ präzise nachbilden. Das Rockett Animal OD ist mit Reglern für Gain, Volume, Bass und Treble ausgestattet und soll den typisch „grunzenden“ und in den Mitten bellenden Sound von alten Classic Rock’n’Roll Amps erzeugen. Wenn der Volume-Regler der Gitarre zurückgedreht wird, soll der Sound aufklaren. Das in den USA hergestellte Rockett Animal aus der Tour Series verfügt über True Bypass und lässt sich per 9V-Blockbatterie oder optionalem 9V-DC-Netzteil mit Betriebsstrom versorgen.

“We wanted to nail the tone and nuance of a real 1968 plexi," Says Chris Van Tassel, co founder of J Rockett Audio Designs. “We were able to reproduce that classic tone with the midrange bark and grunt of the real deal. All of that bark and grunt can get cleaned up easily with the twist of a volume knob! Plexi tone and feel in an enclosure that is ideal for any size pedalboard.

Animal

The Archer clean is a recreation of the clean boost side of a Klon Centaur. Go from beautiful cleans to slamming the front end of your amp for rock n roll. Just like the Archer and Archer Ikon the Archer clean runs off of a 9v power supply but has an internal charge pump to double the voltage to 18v.

By reducing the slam on the coveted diodes it created a bell like clean and/or color boost sound (Depending on where you set the color knob). The feel is amazingly dynamic and maintains the magic of an Archer.
