The Archer clean is a recreation of the clean boost side of a Klon Centaur. Go from beautiful cleans to slamming the front end of your amp for rock n roll. Just like the Archer and Archer Ikon the Archer clean runs off of a 9v power supply but has an internal charge pump to double the voltage to 18v.

By reducing the slam on the coveted diodes it created a bell like clean and/or color boost sound (Depending on where you set the color knob). The feel is amazingly dynamic and maintains the magic of an Archer.

Archer Clean

The Tranquilizer is a swirly machine. One of our favorite effects of old was the original phase 45. We always thought it was more musical than the 90 and less “in your face”. We started out to make a recreation but then discovered features we needed. The tranquilizer is capable of classic phase 45 sounds, classic Univibe sounds, classic Leslie sounds and classic vibe only sounds. The key to everything morphing is in the Focus control, which is an external biasing feature. One of the things we never liked about the classic 45’s was that you could not control the low-end whomp, but you can with the Tranquilizer.

The El Hombre is simple in format but complex in its abilities. The tone section is very effective allowing you to alter the drive style simply by adjusting the “Bite” control. When you bring the bite control up (Clockwise) it becomes more aggressive, turn it down (counter clockwise) making it smoother and more reminiscent of Dumble tones. Please experiment because there is a myriad of sounds in such a simple pedal. Push the volume up and bring the gain back for some amazing blues tones, push the gain and drop the volume for the smooth Carlton/Ford sounds. Bring the “Bite” control up and get wide open Plexi sounds. We are confident that this pedal can achieve any tone you need which is why we love it so much.
