Neben den klassischen Reglern für Volume, Gain und Tone kommt das Effektpedal mit einem 4-Wege Mode-Schalter, der zwischen verschiedenen Tone- und Gain-Settings wählt. In der 'Off' Position wird der Tone-Regler deaktiviert und das Pedal erzeugt einen hellen, bissigen Fuzz / Distortion Sound. In der '1' Position liefert der Cheese Ball einen Sound mit Mid-Scoop, der an satte Big Muff Verzerrung erinnert. Position '2' bietet einen Mid-Boost der sich durch jeden Mix schneidet und Position '3' kommt mit einem aggressiven Gated Fuzz Sound, der spuckt, beißt und schreit!

The Cheese Ball is JHS Pedals faithful and extremely accurate recreation of the original circuit, it is a tribute to one of the most fascinating brands and circuits of all time! The Cheese Ball has your standard Volume, Gain, and Tone knobs found on most distortion fuzz boxes, but comes with an extra mode selector knob that gives you four different overall tone and gain selections. In the 'off' position, the Tone knob is disengaged, giving you a bright and trashy fuzz / distortion sound. In the '1' position you have a mid-scooped sound that will give you a Big Muff style buzz for a rounded sound reminiscent of fine mozzarella that sits just right on your pizza but doesn’t get in the way. The '2' position is a mid-boost sound that will cut through a mix like a hot knife through Velveeta. Finally, the '3' position gives you a biting, gated fuzz tone that, when cranked, spits, spats, and bites like gorgonzola naturale.

Mit seiner Fähigkeit, Mitten zu sweepen und anzuheben oder zu scoopen, kannst du den Ton finden, der dich in einen Träumen verfolgt. Die Bedienelemente des Haunting Mids beinhalten Volume, Mids, Sweep, und einen Lo/Hi Schalter. Volume fungiert als Standard-Lautstärkeregler, um das Signal zu cutten oder zu boosten. Die Mids und Sweep Regler arbeiten sehr eng zusammen, so dass du deinen ganz persönlichen Sweet Spot finden kannst, um die mittleren Frequenzen anzuheben oder abzusenken. The Haunting Mids is a frightfully effective parametric mid EQ pedal that can turn any amp or pedal into a ghastly monster.  With its ability to sweep mids and then boost or scoop them, you can find the tone that haunts your imagination. The controls on the Haunting Mids are Volume, Mids, Sweep, and a Lo/Hi toggle. The Volume acts as a standard volume control to be able to set at unison or boost the signal. The Mids and Sweep controls work very closely together so you can find the perfect frequencies to boost or scoop mid frequencies. This pedal is fantastic on an almost-breaking-up amp to send it into midrange tube driven heaven, or with an overly scooped distortion to give you the bite you need to cut through with every "djent," blues lick, rock riff, or lead line. It's also excellent for taming an overly mid-heavy amp or pedal rig.  The Haunting Mids is not an overdrive pedal, it’s a Mids pedal that when paired with an overdrive, will make you scream for more of this friendly ghost.

Der Pulp N Peel V4 ist das Resultat von über 6 Jahren Basteln, Lernen und Experimentieren. Sein Vorgänger wurde zum Kompressor der Wahl für Player auf der ganzen Welt und hat sich seinen Ruf der Kompressor für Leute die Kompression nicht mögen zu sein eindeutig verdient. In der Version 4 bleibt JHS den Dingen die den Pulp N Peel so einzigartig und herausragend gegenüber der Konkurrenz machen treu und fügt einige neue Features hinzu, um die Fähigkeiten dieses Schaltkreises auf ganz neues Territorium heben. Hierzu zählen ein weicherer Sound mit mehr Sustain, mehr Headroom, ein eingebauter paralleler Overdrive Schaltkreis, ein Tone Regler und ein paralleler DI Ausgang. Die Idee war, einen Kompressor zu schaffen den du nie wieder ausschalten möchtest, der dir kein Attack klaut und einen extrem niedrigen Noise Floor hat und jedem Akkord, jede Melodie und jede einzelne Note mit studioartigem Glanz versieht.

The Pulp N Peel V3 has become a staple on thousands of players' boards all over the world and has gained a reputation for being the compression pedal for players who don't like compression. In version 4 JHS have stayed true to the things that made the PnP stand out among its competition while adding several new features that expand the circuit’s ability to reach into new territory, new tones and new ways of thinking about a compression pedal. These features include an improved detection circuit for smoother and more sustained tones, more headroom, a built in parallel overdrive-drive circuit, a tone control, and parallel 1/4" and DI outputs. The idea behind the Pulp N Peel is to have a compressor pedal that you never want to turn off, that doesn't rob your attack, that has a very low noise floor, and that adds a professional polish to every chord, lead line, and note that blooms out of your guitar.
