Conceived in celebration of “The Beach Boys” documentary on Disney+, The Punchline is named for an unreleased track from the group’s early instrumental days, and it supplies four ways to shape output: a VCA compressor, an overdrive tailored to bass, a vintage amp simulator, and robust 3-band EQ. Together, these effects elicit musical results faster than you can say oom bop bop! Footswitch controls for Compressor and Overdrive sections enable quick dynamic shifts, making the Punchline Bass Station pedal an excellent choice for live performances. Moreover, your clean tone can be blended with the overdrive, which allows sculpted cleans with just a hint of vintage breakup, all the way up to the roaring heft of a vintage bass amp growling with tube-like punch and ample harmonics. Two-way switches for adjusting the compressor and amp sim add four ways to tweak the Punchline’s signal order to suit different needs. And, like any proper bass channel strip sold these days, the Punchline has an XLR DI output for sending the signal to mixing desks, audio interfaces, or other devices. Use the Red Remote with select JHS Pedals to remotely activate the on-board toggle found on the pedal itself. By connecting the Red Remote to a Red Remote equipped pedal with any 1/4” instrument cable, this essentially acts as an on-the-fly switcher to give you more tonal options in any setting.

The Milkman is a collaborative idea between Josh Scott of JHS Pedals and Tim Marcus of Milkman Sound. The concept is simple; a single pedal that offers up an echo/slap delay and a boost that can be used as an always-on enhancer or as an overdrive for small wattage amplifiers. The right side of the pedal is the boost side - a discreet amplifier based circuit with tons of power and character. The left side of the pedal is the echo/slap delay circuit. This circuit is designed to be a hybrid of tape echo and analog BBD delay.

The Ruby Red is a collaboration with one of our favorite artists, producers, and writers in the industry, Butch Walker. He is most known for his breakout work in the Marvelous 3, as well as his long list of producing successes afterward such as: Pete Yorn, Pink, The Academy Is, Weezer, Panic! At The Disco, Taylor Swift, Avril Lavigne, Katy Perry, Keith Urban, Fallout Boy, Ryan Adams, and many more. As one of the busiest and most in-demand guys in the industry, when he isn't in the studio, he’s on a stage. Butch contacted us to let us know that he loved the SuperBolt and had been using it in session after session. We started a conversation about his live rig for upcoming dates, and the rest is history. He needed one pedal that could do everything he needed and do it in the simplest and easiest way possible. Primarily playing a cranked Deluxe Reverb and depending on his guitar’s volume control for much of his dynamics, the pedal had to respond like an amp as well as feel like it was an extension of his amp. This is how the Ruby Red was created.
