Tape Echos sind aus alter Zeit bekannt für warme, sehr gitarrenfreundliche Delay Sounds. Das Mag-Echo bringt dir ähnliche Resultate mit einem Hauch von Lo-Fi Delay und leicht gefilterte Echo-Ansprache. Hier kommt die Modulation ins Spiel, oder wie Keeley es nennen “Wow and Flutter“. In der Welt der Tape Delays ist dies ein leichtes zitterndes Pitch-Shifting, das entsteht wenn man das Band über den Abspielkopf zieht.

Keeley Magnetic Echo – The Mag-Echo pedal simulates tube tape echo sounds by using the delay circuit and a little bit of modulation.  Tape echos have long been regarded as a warm and very guitar friendly form of delay.  The Mag-Echo achieves similar results by using a touch of Lo-Fi delay, a slightly filtered echo response to keep things warm, and some modulation.  Modulation, or “Wow and Flutter” in the tape world is a slight pitch shift or wavering that occurs as the tape is pulled across the heads.  The modulation we use is similar to what we use in our Seafoam Chorus, a slight wavering of pitch on the trails of the repeats.  With a simple set of controls for the delay – Time, Regen, and Level and with the “Wow and Flutter” controls – Depth and Rate you can create some very vintage or rather unique tones.

Für optimale Vielseitigkeit stehen drei Preset-Slots zur Verfügung. Das Hydra lässt sich in jedes denkbare Setup oder Switching System integrieren und bietet einen TRS Expression Pedal Input, Remote Tap Tempo Kontrolle und True Stereo Ein- und Ausgänge. Das Hydra ist das perfekte Pedal für das Ende der Signalkette und die extrem vielseitigen Sounds lassen sich in jedem Genre einsetzen.

Keeley hat zwei legendäre Distortion- und Fuzz-Schaltungen in eine Stompbox gepackt und damit zwei neue Sounds geschaffen. Es ist eine Art Pedal-Modeling, mit dem Unterschied, dass es sich um 100 % analoge Schaltungen der alten Schule handelt und du entscheidest, welche Klangregelung oder Clipping-Sektion du rocken möchtest. Sättige deine Gitarre entweder mit einem legendären '78 Japanese Orange Distortion oder einem '91 Soviet Civil War Fuzz. Verwende den Angry Orange, um mit den Hybrid-Modi deine eigenen Fuzz-Typen zu kreieren, und das alles mit nur drei einfachen Reglern. Das Pedal kann mit True Bypass oder Buffered Bypass betrieben werden, es dauert nur zwei Sekunden, um zwischen den Modi zu wechseln. Der Keeley Angry Orange wird komplett bei Keeley Electronics gefertigt und kommt im neuen Aluminium-Gehäuse.

Keeley crammed two legendary distortion and fuzz circuits into one stompbox and gave you two new sounds in the process. It’s sort of like pedal-modeling except these are 100% old-school, analog circuits and you decide which tone control or clipping section you want to rock. Heavily saturate your guitar through either a legendary ‘78 Japanese Orange Distortion or a ‘91 Soviet Civil War Fuzz. Use the Angry Orange to make your own fuzzztortions with the hybrid modes, all with only three simple knobs. This pedal can be True Bypass or Buffered Bypass, it only takes two seconds to switch between the modes. The Keeley Angry Orange is entirely manufactured at Keeley Electronics and is in the new aluminum enclosure.
