With all the fine sonic terror crafted on your instruments, there comes all sorts of unwanted noise. With every parameter of this gate defined by an envelope-follower this is the most transparent solution you can get on the market! The gate reacts super fast to any change in your playing-style: from staccato to long sustained notes for a singing lead-tone: no problem!
Connect your guitar directly to the side mounted jacks and follow your usual signal chain from there. The pedal splits your signal internally and uses your unaltered guitar-signal as a reference for it´s gating: no tone sucking, no loss of sustain! As the gate uses your pure guitar-signal, you can leave it always on - it really doesn´t care, if you are on your clean or dirt channel or whatever dirt pedals you put in between the key and the gate!

Es ist schon erstaunlich, welche Funktionalität in dieses kleine Delay, insbesondere in der Mk II gepackt wurde. Neben Single- und Dual-Delay hat man die Möglichkeit zu Reverse-Delay, was recht spannende Sound-Effekte ermöglicht. Man kann diverse Viertel/Achtel-Delays vorwählen, Tap-Tempo eingeben und hat die Möglichkeit zum Anschluß eines Expression-Pedals. Mit einem High-Pass-Filter (Age) läßt sich der Klang sehr schön zwischen dunkel-analog bis hell-digital formen. Die Konkurrenz an Delays auf meinem Board ist groß, von daher kommt es nicht so oft zum Einsatz. Aufgrund seiner Vielseitigkeit, der Modulations-Möglichkeiten und nicht zuletzt des wunderbaren Desgns werde ich es aber definitiv behalten.

It's amazing what functionality has been packed into this little delay, especially in the Mk II. In addition to single and dual delay, you have the option of reverse delay, which enables quite exciting sound effects. You can preselect various quarter/eighth delays, enter tap tempo and have the option of connecting an expression pedal. With a high-pass filter (Age), the sound can be beautifully shaped between dark analogue and bright digital. There is a lot of competition for delays on my board, so I don't use it that often. Because of its versatility, the modulation options and, last but not least, the wonderful design, I will definitely keep it.

Aesahaettr (God Destroyer) is the name of a knife capable to cut through the very fabric of time and space in Phillip Pullmans epic novel “His Dark materials”.

Like its namesake our Aesahaettr is made to help your tone cut through any mix by boosting the signal and allowing for reduction of all frequencies that muddy up the sound: delivering up to 35dB of clean boost to push any amp into overdrive and a parametric low-cut up until 1500Hz that allows to dial in any taste of boost from thick, saturated or even blown up sounds over classic treble boost sounds up into modern metal territory and far beyond. This thing works great with down-tuned and extended range guitars and allows for the modern sounds everyones crazy about right now without being another TC-Integrated derivate. For ultimate flexibility we added an active 4-band EQ that’s capable of up to 16dB cut or boost on each band: 40-100hz, 400hz, 1000hz and 4000-1000hz.
