Subway Plus Bass DI-Preamp

The Switch-Track™ enables an either-or-both, ABY scenario for your two favorite amplifiers. Select between two different amplifiers, two identical amps for more Channels and sonic options or combine them for a bigger, fuller sound, or a specific blended character. 

The INPUT is buffered to prevent signal loss due to increased loading when both amplifiers are engaged. Both OUTPUTS are transformer isolated for consistent tone and provide unbalanced or balanced signals for longer than normal cable runs. The “B” OUTPUT’s Ground is default-lifted to eliminate Ground loops.

Whether it's subtle, touch-sensitive, sticky gain drop or a hot red signal to hit the input stage of your favorite amp ... V-1 gives your sound a serious dose of Tone. The simple four control layout shapes and meters just the right amount of fat, liquid gain produced by the 4 triodes that do the dirty work, snug in your stage-proof bunker, and sure of a street-foot output.

And to ensure the purity of the host amp when it's not lighting things up with the V-1, we use a relay to bypass the guitar through two taps. This means there's no sacrifice of its original tone ... unlike many overdrive devices that compromise tone even when they are turned off.

So whether you're updating the past or broadening your horizons, the super-sensitive, thick and lush gain V-1 will turn any amp into a precise instrument of expression.
