The Lo-Fi delay is a unique take on the analog/digital hybrid design. Built around the PT2399 chip, the secret to its tone starts with the filtering derived from the cherished analog delays of yesteryear. The Hi/Lo switch gives you access to two types of filter cutoffs for a ‘natural’ analog sound, or a darker and warmer echo tone.

Speaking of creativity, one thing which really sets the Lo-Fi apart from its peers is the incredible modulation section. Not only are the standard Rate and Depth controls easily accessible on the outside of the pedal, but a waveform switch allows you to choose from a triangle or square wave modulation. Choose triangle wave with low Rate and Depth settings for a convincing faux tape echo, or a square wave with a higher Depth for a glitchy 8-bit computer effect. Warbles and stepped, pseudo pitch-shifting are the Lo-Fi‘s speciality.

The Blues Pro’s classic three-knob design is now bigger and better! All of the variables of this modified TS design are now on the face of the pedal for the ultimate in low/mid-gain tone-shaping. A plethora of overdrive tones await: Be it a low-gain boost, a harmonic blues solo tone or super-compressed fuzz – all can be dialled and switched in with the new expanded feature set. The classic compressed, mid-hump overdrive of the original is still there but is now surrounded by many more options for you to find your custom overdrive tone!

Perhaps the most exciting feature of the Super Blues Pro is the presence of two toggle switches that control the pair of soft-clipping diodes in the circuit. Each switch provides a choice of SILICON, MOSFET or NONE, with each combination giving different clipping symmetry, therefore different boosted harmonics. Each clipping combination also affects the output volume, attack of the signal and compressions allowing you to tailor an overdrive for your needs. For a compressed and throaty overdrive like the original, go for SILICON. If you want a more open OD and brighter attack, try out the MOSFETs, or find a blend in between. Using NONE is perfect for a low-gain boost to drive the front-end of your amp if natural tube overdrive is your sound.

The Pollyanna begins our move away from the comfort of straight laced overdrive and distortion pedals. The basic idea of this pedal was to combine the most common types of dirt and nasty analogue octave effects in one unit. With this pedal if you are after a smooth polished polyphonic digitised octave then forget about it and look elsewhere. One thing to keep in mind with this pedal is you cannot just play like ‘normal' and turn the pedal on. This is a pedal which you need to work with and meet half way to get the best result.
