Der One Control Little Green Emphaser wurde hauptsächlich als Pre-Driver entwickelt, je nach Setting lässt sich mit dem Pedal aber auch eine leichte Verzerrung erzeugen. So lässt sich die Stompbox je nach Bedarf als sanfter Dirt Boost oder als klassischer Pre-Driver für andere Overdrive, Distortion oder Fuzz Pedale nutzen. Der Little Green Emphaser basiert auf der Kombination aus einem Treble Boost und einem Full Range Boost, die stufenlos über den Blend-Regler vermischt werden können. Je nach Setting des Blend-Reglers wird ein anderer Frequenzbereich im Signal betont. Bei Single Coil Pickups erzielt man eher einen Treble Boost, bei Humbucker Tonabnehmern lässt sich über den Blend-Regler ein definierter, crisper Sound erzeugen der in den Transienten eine leichte Verzerrung erzeugt.  Speziell Verstärker mit britischem Voicing profitieren enorm vom Little Green Emphaser und selbst bei Bässen lässt sich das Pedal nutzen um den Klang klarer und definierter zu machen.

The One Control Little Green Emphaser is primarily meant to be used as a pre-driver however it also distorts slightly. It works both as a light dirt booster by itself but can also pre-drive distortion effects, overdrives and fuzzes. Typically, the Little Green Emphaser works best at the beginning of your signal chain. The design of a pre-driver for distortion is made with a combination of a booster and a treble booster in which both are optimized for the lowest possible noise. These were put on a panorama pot in order for them to be blended to your personal liking. Specifically for single coil pickups, you'll notice more of a treble boost, rather than straight boost. In turn, this keeps hum levels low and also adds some body to your tone. With humbucker pickups, the Blend knob was tuned to allow crispness and body. The Blend knob balances or blends the straight booster and the treble booster which allows the player to put emphasis on a specific register to further project his/her tone. Additionally, you'll notice a small amount of distortion with humbucker pickups, especially on transients. The Little Green Emphaser can be an asset with many of the British style amplifiers and finally, this pedal can also be used on electric basses to create a crisper sound.

Little Green Emphaser

The One Control Silver Bee OD 4K Mini is a version customized by BJF himself based on his legendary pedal, the Honey Bee OD.

Now that we have created it in the mini format, it can be installed on various pedal boards without taking up too much space. And after many years of research by BJF himself, it became possible to reproduce the original tone even with mini-sized SMD parts.

The design method is different between conventional handmade pedals that use through-hole parts and mini pedals. Because there is the influence of "ghost components" that do not exist as "parts" in mini pedals and do not appear in the circuit, the sound will be different if you simply make it with the same schematic.
BJF reproduced the sound of the BJFE original pedal, taking into account all the effects from the different characteristics of the parts to the ghost components.
Once the sound was completely satisfactory to BJF himself, we were able to release the Silver Bee in a mini size. And to take it to the next level, we also used BJFE's style for pedal design graphics.

The dynamic range response can be easily adjusted from clean to overdrive with the touch of your hand, which is also a characteristic of Honey Bee OD, and a tone that feels familiar as if there is a classic combo amplifier in front of you. It’s a tighter, slightly brighter tone with a firmer low end.

The flat low end and the tone of the sharp and airy top end are reminiscent of the best characteristics of the American-style combo amplifier. Despite the thick presence, the SBOD 4K Mini has a glittering tone that puts you in front of the mix. The tone also has enough flexibility to reduce gain and be used as an “always on” pedal.

While it is the same gain range as Honey Bee OD, it has the best tone for more modern rock/blues/altcountry, creating a large modern to reissue American amplifier tone, whether you are using single coils or humbuckers..

The 2-band equalizer on the SBOD 4K Mini is widely controllable and allows you to easily control the tone to adapt to various guitars and amps.
The T-knob can control the brightness, high-frequency and harmonic components of the tone, creating a drive tone with a beautiful metallic sound.
The B-knob is centered on the low mid, a critical frequency that gives the ability to adjust your tone according to the characteristics of the stage, the amplifier, and guitar.

Highly responsive overdrives sometimes feel difficult to use, but the Silver Bee OD 4K Mini has a solid presence in the sound itself, so it's easy to play with high dynamic response. It combines the expressive ability to freely control the tone with your hands and fingers, as well as sharp articulation and sense of speed.

And there is a VINTAGE/MODERN switch under the Output terminal. This is a switch that switches the response of the whole sound, especially near the low frequencies.

Originally, it was a switch to switch between the current sound of Honey Bee OD, which became the base circuit of the Silver Bee OD, and the earliest sound. Silver Bee OD was already based on "modern" HBOD when it was first developed as a circuit, so we gave you the option to switch to the earlier style circuit, with slightly more sag and a shift in the low mid frequencies.

This switch is a very subtle tonal change, and you may feel that the sound does not change at all depending on the guitar or amplifier you use. However, you can make the whole tone a little thicker or a little cleaner.

Silver Bee OD

Das One Control Stone Bramble Overdrive ist ein weiteres Overdrive Pedal, das vom ursprünglichen und erfolgreichen Strawberry Red Overdrive von One Control abgeleitet wurde. Das Stone Bramble erweitert das ursprüngliche Design um etwas mehr Glanz und Schimmer sowie eine schaltbare Mid-Boost-Funktion, die die oberen Mitten genau richtig betonen kann. Ohne den Mid-Boost erzeugt das Pedal einen 'schneidenderen' und 'kantigeren' Overdrive-Sound.

The One Control Stone Bramble Overdrive is another 'flavor' that has descended from the original and successful Strawberry Red Overdrive pedal from One Control. The Stone Bramble extends the original design with a little bit more sparkle and shimmer and a switchable mid-boost function that can accentuate the upper mids in just the right way. Without the mid-boost, the pedal creates a more cutting and 'edgy' overdrive tone.

Mit dem One Control MIDI-Dual-Stereo-Loop (MDSL) der Minimal Series bietet One Control dem Spieler eine einfache MIDI-Loop-Funktionalität, perfekt geeignet für kleine Pedalboards sowie für große Effektsysteme. Mono und Stereo-Signale können variabel verarbeitet werden. Es besteht z.B. die Möglichkeit Mono-Signale in Stereo-Signale umzuwandeln (Dual-Mono-Betrieb) und sie an Stereo-Effekte zu senden. Der One Control MIDI-Dual-Stereo-Loop kann zwischen 1-8 MIDI-Kanäle nutzen, um Steuersignale zu empfangen, und die beiden Effektschleifen über MIDI PC oder CC ein- und ausschalten.

With the One Control MIDI Dual Stereo Loop (MDSL) of the Minimal Series, One Control offers the player a simple MIDI loop functionality, perfectly suited for small pedalboards as well as for large effects systems. Mono and stereo signals can be processed variably. For example, it is possible to convert mono signals into stereo signals (dual-mono operation) and send them to stereo effects. The One Control MIDI dual stereo loop can use between 1-8 MIDI channels to receive control signals and switch the two effect loops on and off via MIDI PC or CC.

One Control STRAWBERRY RED OVERDRIVE DLX (SRODDLX) is the newest edition of our classic STRAWBERRY RED OVERDRIVE (SROD) that has been very popular with One Control users for its high-quality tones and superb dynamic response.
This new DLX six knob model gives you more control over your tones with finely tuned precision. The SRODDLX still retains the classic original circuit developed by Björn Juhl and One Control with an overdrive that transcends style and genre. To be able to interface with a wide variety of amplifiers and speakers, the DLX has a classic four knob tone circuit “stack” like many classic UK amplifiers – BASS, MIDDLE, TREBLE, and PRESENCE. With a single knob, this circuit can produce overdrive ranging from low bluesy tones to a hard and powerful overdrive as well as heavier distortions at the far-right side of the dial. With the DRIVE set to minimum, the SRODDLX can be used as a clean or treble booster style pedal. When the DRIVE knob is raised a bit more and the guitar volume knob lowered, the resulting clean sound can be rich with overtones and a thick responsive tone can be had, resembling older one knob tube amps. With the gain levels set higher, the SRODDLX still retains the characteristics of various guitars and amplifiers, never losing your core tone.
For many of us, the STRAWBERRY RED OVDERDRIVE has been a favorite pedal for years.
