Compared to the original and much loved Tim pedal, the V3 is in a shorter box with all the pots on top and all the jacks on back. The 3-way clipping switch has the same top and middle settings but with a new 3rd more "open" asymmetrical setting. A 3-way "Hi-Cut" switch is added which helps it sit better with brighter amps/speakers. It's flat in the middle with -3dB @ 3khz and -3dB @ 1k5hz settings. The FX loop is now tied in with the boost for added flexibility in that mode. Internal voltage converter included so the input is +9vdc only. Additionally, the new Tim V3 is true bypass, but controlled by a Soft Switch relay circuit that minimizes the loud pop/click that some pedals have when engaging the switches.

Das Zefram ist ein einzigartig gestaltetes Clean-Boost-, Overdrive- und Distortion-Pedal, das ein breites Spektrum an Dirt-Tönen bietet und gleichzeitig sehr benutzerfreundlich und einfach einzustellen ist. Es verfügt über BASS-, MID-, TREBLE-, GAIN- und VOLUME-Regler sowie einen 3-Wege-CLIP-Schalter und einen 3-Wege-CUT-Schalter, damit es mit einer großen Bandbreite an Stilen, Gitarren und Verstärkern funktioniert.

The Paul Cochrane Zefram Pedal is not another version of the Tim & Timmy pedals, but it does share some of the same design goals Paul always strives for: A wide range of gain from flat & clean, lite break up, crunchy power chords and now thick lead tones.  It wont take you into super high gain metal, but it gets up there!

The Zefram is a uniquely designed clean boost, overdrive and distortion pedal that offers a wide range of dirt tones while being very user friendly and easy to dial in.  It has BASS, MID, TREBLE, GAIN and VOLUME controls along with a 3-way CLIP switch and a 3-way CUT switch to make it work with a wide range of styles, guitars and amps.

The Timmy pedal has always been known for it's ability to provide a transparent overdrive to your amplifier while retaining the amps original tone. It's a fairly common thing for an overdrive to color tone, so why invest in a $1500 plus amp only to change it's inherent sound, right?

At low settings you will be able to effortlessly achieve a sound that is simply "more" of what your amp already offers. As the gain is turned up, and the pedal's EQ adjusted accordingly, smooth, singing, round and reedy tones are at your fingertips.

The Timmy pedal's responsiveness is exactly like that of a great, tube amplifier in that it responds immediately to your right hand's attack.

The Paul Cochrane Timmy is absolutely a legend in the world of overdrive pedals, and has been copied to a large degree over the years by several knock offs.

Timmy v2

The Y2K precursor to Paul Cochrane's legendary Timmy overdrive, the Tim is a highly sculptable overdrive pedal that produces a natural sounding, low to medium gain drive. With an onboard FX loop and pre-gain Bass control, the Tim is unlike many other overdrives to come before or after it. This unit is in near mint condition, spare a few scratches on the bottom of the unit. It comes with its original box and manual.  Based on the type of script, this is the V2 variant of the pedal.
