Together, we set out to combine Revv’s trademark high gain tones with a sound inspired by the legendary HM-2*. The Swedish chainsaw is the grimy, chaotic sound of metal’s most aggressive genres, but you can also mix it into your traditional high gain tone to add cut, character, & make your sound memorable.

The REVV G4 voiced after the flagship Generator 120 Red Channel is a thick gain monster that still has the nuance to cover old-school tones. The G4 is an amp in a box distortion pedal based on this tone used by premier touring and recording guitarists worldwide.  Applying feedback we've received from the G3 - we've developed the polar opposite to its surgical, mid-forward Purple Channel voicing. The G4 is a great place to start for thick saturated amp-like tones and a complement to other Revv pedals or any existing rig.
