The EHX Chillswitch Momentary Line Selector is a utilitarian pedal with the creative effects user in mind.

In Line Selector Mode, the scope of the pedal’s use is only limited by the player’s creative vision. It can, for example, be used to quickly switch in the effects loop, introducing a burst of distortion, analog delay induced feedback or ring modulation. It can also be tapped in time with what is being played to bring effects in and out of the signal path rhythmically. This is especially interesting when one of those effects is a delay with tap tempo. The many and varied uses of this pedal are an open invitation for the modern player who wishes to explore the world of unorthodox sound creation and manipulation.

The Nano Pulsar takes tremolo beyond the ordinary and mundane. Equipped with a collection of tremolo-modulating waveforms and the option of operating in Triangle or Square Wave modes, the Nano Pulsar is a tremolo/panner treasure chest. In mono, it’s simply amazing, or, connect it in stereo to create shifting waves of sound that surround you and fill your space with weaving, pulsating energy.

For all its power, the Nano Pulsar’s layout is intuitive and using it is easy. There’s often a perceived volume drop with tremolo when the effect is engaged so we’ve included a Volume control. It allows a player to fine-tune their output level when the effect is on, and is a very useful addition.

The Nano Pulsar’s Depth knob adjusts the amount of tremolo applied to the signal. Past maximum (around 1 o’clock) the modulation becomes asymmetric and warps the audio signal between positive and negative phase. This creates a unique style of tremolo which sounds great alone or can be used in combination with other effects like the Oceans 11’s Shimmer patch to produce compelling synth-like sounds and textures.

The Rate knob provides a full range of speed adjustments for the tremolo or pan effect, and when you start to max out the Rate and Depth controls you enter ring modulation territory for a surreal sonic joyride!

NANO PULSAR

JHS's modded version of the Electro-Harmonix Micro Pog dishes out more overall control of the unit and increased functionality. The "Quadra Pog" mod duplicates the Micro Pog's octave controls while also giving you two separate footswitches to control both internal and external octave controls. This gives you the ability to have four different octave presets at your disposal. The left footswitch corresponds with the red led and toggles between sub octave settings. The middle footswitch toggles the pedal on/off, and the right footswitch corresponds with the blue LED and controls octave up knobs. Expanded controls and crisp octave effects make JHS's "Quadra Pog" mod an excellent choice for players looking for a wide range of control.
