This board shows how to get close to the Jimi Hendrix sound. Absolutely essential for his sound was a Fender Stratocaster, a Wah Pedal, a Germanium Fuzz and a Uni-Vibe. The whole thing amplified by a Marshall Superlead Plexi (the Woodstock setup). On this board we expand the palette a bit to cover all facets of his sound.

The Echoplex EP-3 tape echo unit is famous for its deliciously warm, organic modulation and sweet musical voice—a key component to some of the most iconic guitar tones from the '70s onward. The original EP-3 units, however, are expensive, temperamental, and larger than a VCR.

That's where the EP103 Echoplex Delay comes in. It's the size of a Phase 90, and it delivers the EP-3's legendary tones with a simple control interface and a hi-fi all-analog dry path. The Delay control sets the time between repeats—from 65ms to 750ms—the Sustain control sets the number of repeats, and the Volume control sets the output level of your repeats.

EP103 Echoplex Delay

Catalinbread’s Talisman plate reverb is touted as a homage to the plate reverbs of the 70s, famously used on Pink Floyds iconic Dark Side of the Moon album. To clarify, according to Musician on a Mission, plate reverb is “a clever way of imitating the way sound reverberates through a room. Plate reverb units are big, enclosed cases. Hanging inside of the case is a thin metal sheet, aka the “plate.” When a sound is played into a plate reverb unit, vibrations inside of the case create the illusion of reverb“.

Das innovative Slot-Design funktioniert mit gängigen Montage-Lösungen oder, perfekt, mit unserem RockBoard QuickMount System. Außerdem machen die Slots es einfach, Kabel für einen sauberen Aufbau unter der Board-Oberfläche zu verlegen. Nahezu alle gängigen Netzteile lassen sich entweder direkt unter der Board-Oberfläche oder mit unserem optional erhältlichen The Tray oder BasePlates montieren. The RockBoard RBO B 2.2 DUO B pedalboard offers space for approx. 5 to 9 pedals (depending on the size of the pedals) and comes with a perfectly matched gig bag. The robust, water-repellent RokTex surface, the reinforced PVC (polyvinyl chloride) bottom, and the 10 mm padding offer perfect protection while providing easy transportation. The RockBoard pedalboard series has been designed to create a pedalboard that is lightweight, warp resistant, and robust, and above all, allows the use of a wide range of pedals, as well as power supplies and their mounting solutions. Its unique and ingenious design is based on only a single cold-rolled sheet of aluminum without a single weld. As a result, it offers a flat surface that can be fully utilized. U-shaped vertical braces give the board extra stability without making it noticeably heavier, making the board completely torsion-resistant and preventing bending even under maximum load. The innovative slot design works with common mounting solutions or, perfectly, with our RockBoard QuickMount system. In addition, the slots make it easy to route cables under the board surface for a clean setup. Almost all common power supplies can be mounted either under the board surface directly or by using our optionally available RockBoard The Tray or BasePlates. All RockBoard models (except the DUO series) are compatible with our RockBoard All-In-One PatchBays, which are a useful addition to any RockBoard.
