The Epstein Didn’t Kill Himself Fuzz is a three transistor silicon fuzz pedal. ‘Erase Footage’ controls the overall signal volume of the effect. ‘Fuzzy Recollection’ controls the amount of fuzz, sweeping between slightly gritty boost all the way to heavy fuzz crunch. The ‘Security Camera’ toggle switch allows you to keep the “N’T” illuminated letters in “DIDN’T” always on or switchable with the bypass of the effect.

The Epstein Didn’t Kill Himself Fuzz is sonically similar to our now discontinued Bweep Fuzz.

Epstein Didn't Kill Himself Fuzz

Last year we debuted the Transistor MIGFET 50P Preamp, a reinterpretation of the original Sovtek MIG50 guitar tube amplifier in pedal form. The response was amazing. Guitarists rejoiced as the sound of one of their most oft used amps was now available in a convenient pedal package. The one bit of feedback we received from the MIGFET was that users wanted MORE GAIN, so we popped open the hood and discovered a simple yet effective single component swap that delivers additional breakup while retaining the full tonal characteristics of the MIG sound. And thus, the MIGFET V2 was born. The MIGFET V2 uses JFETs in place of the 12AX7 preamp tubes in the original amp circuit. This gives the pedal the compression/sag response of a tube amp when you dig in on your guitar strings. The dynamic EQ has that classic Bassman tone stack shapeability that the MIG circuit employed and allows for a slew of easily tunable sounds. Turn the Volume low and raise the Master for clean preamp tones. Lower the Master and crank the Volume for more gain/breakup.

MIGFET Preamp V2

The Kakarot Fuzz is a hybrid fuzz circuit featuring one germainium transistor feeding into one silicon transistor which is then sent through a pair of LEDs for boosted clipping. Detected by its strong magnetic field emanating from the lunar crater Tycho, the TMA-1 was found buried 15 meters beneath the surface of the moon. The moment 9 volts of direct current hit the TMA-1, a powerful signal burst across the universe, searching for other devices of its kind. This is how the new fuzz pedal from Acorn Amplifiers came to be. The TMA-1 fuzz is a four stage transistor fuzz featuring a series of selectable diode clipping options. Germanium diodes, silicon diodes, and a bypass of the clipping diodes are switchable in two separate stages of the fuzz circuit, allowing for a vast array of shapable fuzz tones. A giant glass lens indicator glows red on the face of the pedal to remind humans of the impending singularity that threatens to doom mankind, and also to let you know when the fuzz is engaged.
