The Acorn Amplifiers Mind Killer is a dual distortion device that promises to deliver huge gain tones to any rig. It features two separately stomp-able distortion circuits in series, each with its own bass boost and clipper diode toggle switches. Mind Killer

Last year we debuted the Transistor MIGFET 50P Preamp, a reinterpretation of the original Sovtek MIG50 guitar tube amplifier in pedal form. The response was amazing. Guitarists rejoiced as the sound of one of their most oft used amps was now available in a convenient pedal package. The one bit of feedback we received from the MIGFET was that users wanted MORE GAIN, so we popped open the hood and discovered a simple yet effective single component swap that delivers additional breakup while retaining the full tonal characteristics of the MIG sound. And thus, the MIGFET V2 was born. The MIGFET V2 uses JFETs in place of the 12AX7 preamp tubes in the original amp circuit. This gives the pedal the compression/sag response of a tube amp when you dig in on your guitar strings. The dynamic EQ has that classic Bassman tone stack shapeability that the MIG circuit employed and allows for a slew of easily tunable sounds. Turn the Volume low and raise the Master for clean preamp tones. Lower the Master and crank the Volume for more gain/breakup.

MIGFET Preamp V2

The ADHD, or Adaptive Droning Hyperfuzz Device, is a glitch, filter, bit crushing, octave, square wave guitar synth oscillator disguised as a fuzz pedal. An adjustable square wave oscillator accompanies a rambunctious fuzz circuit to create a wildly interactive guitar or bass guitar effect. 8-bit vintage video game tones become searing octave leads with the turn of the five control knobs on board the ADHD and the synth noise oscillator can be controlled using an external expression pedal or tuned by hand with the Frequency knob. The Acorn ADHD is assembled using a voltage controlled timer that blends with the gain control of an LM386 amplifier IC chip to produce interactive and layered bit crushed octave-up-and-down fuzz tones that can be sculpted even further along the frequency bandwidth with the tone/filter control.
