The Bass TightMetal Jr is a bass version of Amptweaker's popular TightMetal Jr and features the Dry Low MOD control on the side. This trim adds a clean low end to your tone and helps maintain the basic sound without adding weird phase-shifted sounds to the distorted high end. Derived from the Pro series, the Tight knobs and Fat switches have been reconfigured into a 3-way Fat / Normal / Tight switch to change the attack from thick and heavy to aggressive and clunky. An EQ switch provides Thrash / Normal / Smooth tone settings, allowing the pedal to cover a wide range of applications and fit into a variety of rigs. In addition to the Gain, Tone and Volume controls, there's a manually adjustable Noise Gate that lets you stop notes fast and hard. And the great thing about a built-in noise gate is that it disappears when the pedal is in bypass... so your clean signal isn't affected! The Tight switch and Tone knob have been optimized to work even better at lower frequencies, making the TightMetal Jr perfect for bass or lower tuned as well as 7- or 8-string guitars.
