As an Amptweaker Pro pedal, the TightFuzz Pro is built from the popular TightFuzz distortion pedal. Its 3 band EQ helps make this one of the most flexible fuzztones available, and Amptweaker's Tight control really makes a difference in controlling the attack of the fuzz. The an auto-bias feature built into the Fuzz control, allows the knob to control from the cleanest to the nastiest distortions with one control. One important difference between the TightFuzz Pro and most 'reissue' fuzz boxes is that with the addition of the Tight control in front of the fuzz circuit, the input of the fuzz circuit is effectively buffered. A common problem with most fuzz designs is that circuits with low output impedances can completely change the bias and gain structure. The result is often an odd sound or squeals, unusual feedback etc. The buffering in the TightFuzz Pro actually simulates the impedance of a guitar, so that the fuzz circuit works in the normal way it's intended, and any low impedance circuit CAN be used in the loop or in front of the pedal. Amptweaker pedals are known for effects loops, and this one has 3: a universal loop, another active with the boost, and our popular SideTrak loop which activates when the pedal is OFF...it's like having a built-in A/B box.

With ever-shrinking pedalboard real estate, a recent common theme are smaller footprint versions of popular pedals. The TightRock Jr. shares most of the features of its larger counterpart, and uses the same circuitry, while eliminating some features most players don't need in order to shrink down the size and weight. This pedal can even be used as a preamp, by running the output straight into the amp's effects return or power amp input. Derived from the Pro series, the Tight control and Fat switches were re-configured into a 3-position Fat/Normal/Tight switch to dial in the attack of the notes from thick and heavy to aggressive and chunky. An EQ switch similarly provides Plexi/Normal/Smooth tone settings, which helps the pedals cover much of the range of its Pro parents. The manually-adjustable Noise Gate can be cranked to stop notes hard and fast. And the great thing about a built-in noise gate is that it goes away when you turn the pedal off...so your clean tone is unaffected!

Tight Rock Jr

Im Gegensatz zu den meisten Distortion-Pedalen mit Boost verfügt das TightMetal Pro über 2 Boost-Regler, einen vor und einen nach der Verzerrung. So ist es einfach, Gain und Lautstärke für den perfekten Solo- Ton anzupassen. Unlike most distortion pedals with boost, the TightMetal Pro includes 2 Boost knobs, one before and one after the distortion.so it's easy to boost the gain AND volume, for the perfect solo tone. There's also a Midboost button that works with the output Boost knob, to help solos cut through the mix. To reign in those other metal tones the Smooth Edge switch was developed which cuts the high end sizzle for a warmer edge, and 2 Fat switches allow either the normal or Boosted tones to have a thicker attack with a bit more compression. There's also a High Gain switch to select between vintage sounding metal and heavier modern metal gain. The added three band EQ allows for much tonal variation, with its Thrash button for more traditional deeper scooped mids. The Amptweaker custom noise gate with the hard stopping Chomp setting to helps keeping the rhythm as tight as possible...especially when doing very quick riffs with a lot of palm-muted stops. Internal adjustments allow for tweaking the gate.
