The DevTech Audio Precision1 is a double isolated fuzz/sustainer guitar effects pedal, inspired by the Pete Cornish P-1™. It is highly recommended for thick, searing lead tones and is perfect for solos and heavy rhythm work. Pete Cornish built the P-1 for David Gilmour, which he used extensively in Pink Floyd tours. The Precision1 is a little more aggressive than the Precision2, with a tone stack more like a traditional Big Muff rather than the Precision2 Treble cut style tone control. The Precision1 also features the Cornish Buffer Preamp with superior RFI rejecting capability and Low Impedance output, allowing the use of extended cable runs in bypass mode. The Unity Gain Buffer also prevents "Ghost noise" being audible in Bypass Mode. The Precision1 features a slide switch inside the unit to turn this bypass buffer off and engage True Bypass mode if desired.
