TREMOLO

Description

LENA is a tremolo designed by effettidiclara. Completely handmade, assembled and lacquered in Italy. Optical tremolo with optocoupler and fully analog LFO. The possibility to vary the waveform (sine/square) allows to obtain different sound nuances, from a vintage tremolo, soft and slightly compressed, very musical, in the style of the amplifiers of the 60s, to more experimental and modern sounds, thanks to the typical incisive and intermittent square wave response. The potentiometer adjustment also allows for all the nuances in between. The VOL control compensates for the typical volume loss at high DEPTH settings and can also be used as a slight volume boost when the pedal is pressed. The two-color status LED indicates the speed of the oscillator even when the pedal is switched off (yellow on / red off). It can be used for both bass and guitar. The true bypass is an electromechanical relay that is controlled by a click-free switch. The advantages, in addition to silent switching, are longer life and reliability over time thanks to a system that is less susceptible to mechanical wear than the 3PDT switch.
