Inspired by an overdrive/distortion favored by many guitarists from the Merrimack Valley hardcore scene of northeastern Massachusetts, Riffchild is an excellent way to push a tube amp into anything from subtle boost to over-the-top distortion. It features an active bell-shaped bass boost to add depth without mud and a passive treble shelf for to smoothly add definition and focus. Warning: this pedal is very loud!
