OVERDRIVE
DISTORTION

Description

With the Gurus 1959 Double Decker, the effects specialists at Gurus pay tribute to the legendary British sound. The 1959 Double Decker offers two independent channels with individual gain controls and 3-band tone stacks that make two different sounds available, ranging from gentle blues overdrive to juicy hard rock distortion. The unrivalled dynamics of the pedal combined with the right amount of ‘dirt’ and ruthlessness ensure a particularly lively sound that puts the best British amplifiers in the shade. In addition, the Gurus 1959 Double Decker is equipped with a switchable solo boost that can cut through the thickest band sound if required, while a loop that can be switched between serial and parallel operation allows you to loop in additional effects devices. The DI output with switchable speaker simulation also makes the Gurus 1959 Double Decker a useful recording tool in the studio.
