Meron is a frequency modulation (FM) synthesizer, controlled by the pitch and dynamics of your bass or guitar. It starts with two pure sine wave oscillators which both track the frequency of the notes you play into it. One oscillator, called the Modulator, is not heard directly – instead it's used to modulate the frequency of the main oscillator, called the Carrier. This modulation transforms the pure sine tones into all kinds of clangs, bells, and intense electronic timbres.
