Der Keeley Loomer ist eine Wall-Of-Fuzz getränkt in einem Schwall an Reverb. Der Loomer ist eine Thrill-Maschine und gibt dir Wellen an Reverb auf eine Art und Weise, wie du sie noch nie im Stompbox Format gehört hast. Außerdem dazu gibt es ein beißendes Fuzz mit drei fixen EQ Einstellungen - eine Flat Einstellung, ein traditionelles bass- und höhen-schweres Scoop Setting und einen dunkleren Full Modus mit mehr Mitten und Bässen. 

Keeleys neue Rewerbs im Loomer könnten aus den feuchten Träumen eines Shoegazers stammen. Hall ist eine super-lange Ambient-Welle mit der Möglichkeit oktavierte Regeneration in den Feedback Loop einzuspeisen. Mehr als Schimmer – es ist zum Himmel aufgefahrener Shimmer Reverb. 
Reverse setzt mit dem Decay Regler verschiedene Delay Zeiten, welche dir einen rhytmischen, dem Yamaha SPX90 und Alesis Midiverb II nachempfundenen Reverse Reverb. Eigentlich kein wirklicher umgekehrter Reverb, liest der Reverse Reverb Modus an verschiedenen Punkten durch eine Delay-Line und hebt gleichzeitig das Volume an. Der Decay Regler lässt dich hier zwischen 8 verschiedenen Decay Ranges wählen – von 150-500 ms. 
Und nun wird es erst richtig cool. Der Reverse Modus bietet dir zusätzlich ein Envelope-gesteuertes Vibrato. Der Tone Regler in diesem Modus ist am Rhythm Tone Regler einer Jazzmaster orientiert, mit einem Low-Pass Filter mit Center-Frequenz 156,6 Hz. Schlag hart an und du bekommst einen Sound als würdest du mit dem Trem Bar einer Jazzmaster oder Jaguar spielen. Der Focus Reverb ist ein dichter Hall mit zwei parallelen Delays auf 250 ms und auf 380 ms.  Da alle Reverb Modi sich mit dem Blend Poti komplett auf Wet stellen lassen, ist der Focus Modus klanglich sehr nah am Yamaha FX500 Patch.

The Keeley Loomer is a Wall-Of-Fuzz drenched in a Wash-Of-Reverb. A stoned, morning floaty, messed up, thrill machine is what it is.  Washes of reverb in new ways you’ve not heard in a stomp box before and a fuzz that’s like a cigarette burn on your forearm.  It rages. Featuring three fixed EQ settings the Loomer’s biting Fuzz delivers Flat, a traditionally bass and treble heavy Scoop or a darker Full sound with more mid and bass.Keeley’s new reverbs in the Loomer are born of a Shoegaze dream. Hall is a super long ambient wash with the ability to add octave regeneration in the feedback loop.  More than shimmer it’s more like ascension shimmer. Reverse sets different delay times with the Decay control which gives you rhythmic reverse based on the Yamaha SPX90 and the Alesis Midiverb II. It is not a true reversed reverb as it reads through a delay line at various points in the delay while increasing in volume.  The Decay control lets you choose between 8 different “decay” times ranging from 150 to 500 ms allowing you to set all kinds of delay times in which the notes come back at you. This is where it gets really cool.  The vibrato in this mode is envelope controlled. The range runs from 0 to 50 ms of time shift. Tone control is loosely based on the Jazzmaster rhythm tone control with a low pass filter centered at 156.6 Hz  Strum hard at it pitch bends like you are playing the trem bar on a Jazzmaster or Jaguar!  Combine the two for an unreal dual-guitar player effect! The Focus Reverb features a dense reverb with two delays in parallel (one set for 250ms, the other set for 380ms.). Because all of the reverbs can go All-Wet by means of the Blend Control, the Focus mode is a great approximation of the Yamaha FX500 patch.

Robert Keeley und seine Crew sind Zappa Fans. Manische Fans. Das Keeley Bubble Tron erkundet einige der berühmtesten, aber schwer zu findenden Sounds der Vergangenheit. Keeley Engineering hat hier ein weiteres Bündel an Neo-Vintage Effekten geschaffen, die es nie zuvor gab. Diesmal lassen sie Flanger und Phaser dynamisch mit Pick Attack und Anschlagstärke arbeiten, fügen dann noch einen Random Stepped Filter mit neuartigem „M-Style Synth“ Bandpass Shaping hinzu und schon hat man das Traum-Tool jedes Lead-Gitarristen.

Mit seinen drei Operationsmodi zieht das Bubble Tron unter anderem Inspiration vom MicMix Flanger. Dieser unglaubliche Effekt wurde von Frank Zappa für viele seiner Solo Sounds in den späten 70ern bis Mitte der 80er verwendet. Ein dynamischer Flanger – er startet und stoppt basierend auf deinem Pick Attack.
Die Flanger Section des Bubble Tron nutzt ebenso dein Spiel um den Flanger anzuwerfen und zu stoppen. Die meisten Flanger kreisen basierend auf einem LFO und im Hintergrund ist ein ständiges Swooshen zu hören. Nicht so mit dem Bubble Tron! Außerdem bieten die meisten Flanger entweder nur positives oder negatives Feedback – der Dyna Flange Modus des Bubble Tron stellt dir beide Möglichkeiten zur Auswahl.

Die DynaMo Phase Section des Bubble Tron beherbergt eigentlich zwei Phaser. Einer basierend auf einem LFO der die Geschwindigkeit kontrolliert, während Depth über die Anschlagsdynamik gesteuert wird. Der andere ist ein komplett dynamischer Phaser, der gesteuert durch dein Pick Attack mit deinem Spiel anfängt und aufhört zu phasen.
Du willst nur den dynamischen Phaser? Auch kein Problem, dreh einfach den Rate Regler auf 0.

Der einzige, nicht dynamische Part des Bubble Tron, ist seine Filter Section. Sie stellt die willkürliche Natur dieses Pedals dar und verfügt über einen zufälligen Vintage Synth-Style Bandpass Filter und gibt dir ein Repertoire an unglaublichen keyboard-artigen Sounds.

Robert Keeley and his crew are fans of Zappa. Rabid fans. The Keeley Bubble Tron explores some of the famous, but very hard to find sounds of the past.  Keeley Engineering has created another batch of Neo-Vintage effects that never were.  This time they made the Flanger and Phaser work dynamic with your pick attack and strength.  Then add the Random Stepped Filter with the new “M-Style Synth” bandpass shaping feature, and you have a lead guitarist’s dream tool.  Shut up and play your effect pedal!  Yeah, you play this thing like an extension of your mind and fingers.

Featuring three modes of operation, the Bubble Tron’s Flanger section draws on inspiration from the MicMix DynaFlanger.
This incredible piece of gear was used by Frank Zappa to create many of the sounds in the late 70’s to mid-80’s in his solos.  A dynamic flanger is one that starts and stops based on your pick attack.  
The Bubble Tron uses your playing to start and stop the flanger.  Most flangers just cycle ‘round and ‘round and there is constant swooshing in the background.  Not with the Bubble Tron, it only cycles as you play.  Also most flangers offer either positive or negative feedback – the Bubble Tron’s DynaMo Flange allows you to try either.  

The DynaMoPhase section of the Bubble Tron is actually two phasers.  One has an LFO that you set the speed of with the Rate Control (while it’s depth is dynamically controlled) and the other is a true Dynamic Phaser.  It starts and stops based on your pick attack.  
Turn off the standard phaser and just run it as DynaPhase by turning the Rate Control off.

The only part of the Bubble Tron that isn’t dynamic is its Filter Section, with which you can control the different ramps or its random nature. It features a random vintage synth-style bandpass filter and gives you some incredible keyboard like sounds.

Dieser, neueste Mod des Red Dirt zauberte allen in der Keeley Werkstatt ein Grinsen auf die Lippen.
Was als zufälliges Resultat, als Robert Keeley eine Abkürzung auf den Schaltboard nehmen wollte, begann, stellte sich als Goldader heraus. Eine kleine Änderung, bei weitem nichts bahnbrechendes, aber mit erstaunlichem Ergebnis. Noch nie gesehen bei einem Tube-Screamer-artigen Schaltkreis…
Der Red Dirt Germanium kling 3-dimenisonal… mehr von allem…!
Tatsächlich wird er bei zurückgedrehtem Volume Regler wirklich clean, mit einer Menge Gain-Reserven. Dagegen klingt ein Tube-Screamer vom Regal flach und eindimensional.
Bässe sind straff und kraftvoll, die Mid-Range und Höhen sind vollgesogen mit Sustain…

Keeley’s latest mod to the venerable platform has everyone grinning here at the shop. The new mod happened as a result of me trying to be a touch lazy.  Or let’s say, I was trying to find a short cut and struck gold.  In modifying the circuit I came across a way to have variable gain on different parts of the frequency response.  The rather small change isn’t ground breaking, but I’ve never seen it done this way in a tube screamer type of circuit.  The resulting sound is exceptional.  It sounds 3D.  It’s more of everything.  It in fact cleans up really nicely with the volume control even though it has plenty more gain on tap.  It makes a stock screamer sound very flat and one dimensional.  By allowing differing gain rates for the bass response, the bass stays tight and forceful.  The mid range and highs are soaked in sustain and saturation.  The balance is exceptional.
