The Nice Drive Eh? is a Class A tube amp on 10 type drive. It has a huge amount of level boost on tap. Unity level is about 9 o’clock on the control, much like k-style circuits. The Drive control is actually changing three different parameters, including the circuit bias. As such there is noise when moving the control, this is expected behavior. The Bass and Treble controls are passive and offer a nice amount of tailoring for your tone.
