Lovell's Hotbox is a passive 8 Ohm attenuator, that will help you squish out all the big sound from your favorite amplifiers, without tearing down the house or upsetting the neighbors. This mainly passive attenuator can easily withstand 50 Watts RMS at its input. It has a constant 6dB attenuation rate, that could go up to 33dB, and its built-in 3-way Treb switch will help you compensate sound perception at low volume. The Hotbox could also perform as an electric load for your amp (a sort of silent speaker), that'll allow you to use your amp to record through its line level outputs (send, line out, pre out, etc) completly quiet, but taking advantage of all the preamp sound.
