DELAY

Description

The Mantic Conceptual Isaiah Delay is a hybrid digital/analog delay pedal, developed in collaboration with Grammy-winning keyboardist Isaiah "Ikey" Owens. This pedal combines the warmth and subtle artifacts of analog and tape delays with the consistency and versatility of digital technology. It features three control knobs—Mix, Rate, and Feedback—offering simplicity while allowing deep exploration of unique delay sounds. The extended feedback range enables extensive self-oscillation, perfect for creating experimental soundscapes. Additionally, the pedal includes an analog preamp section using the 4558 IC, which provides a clean yet characterful tone without signal saturation or muddiness. The subtle Mix control ensures that the delay never overpowers the original signal, maintaining clarity throughout. Overall, the Mantic Conceptual Isaiah Delay is noted for its ability to produce both subtle echoes and extreme, adventurous delay effects, reflecting Mantic's focus on artistic collaboration and innovation in the boutique pedal market.
