The Sericon is an a bold interpretation of the gold standard of overdrives with more gain shaping options than other “Klones”. The Sericon has a highly tweakable, interactive mystique all its own, with three separate controls for gain manipulation; Drive, Gain and Blaze. All types of drive are on tap, ranging from clean always-on boost to edge-of-breakup to all out shred.

The Sericon begins by splitting the Gain control of the original design into its two op-amp stages with separate Gain and Drive controls. These two can be finely adjusted to taste to affect the harmonic complexity of the tone.

Next, a low pass filter is placed in the feedback loop with a “Blaze” control to further tailor response. At lower Gain/Drive settings, the filter behaves in a typical fashion, bringing in low end warmth as you increase it, while being very interactive with the Gain/Drive controls.

The Sacred Cow is a playful nod to the legendary and extremely expensive gold standard overdrive that has become a near-mythological classic. We sought to create an accessible, pedalboard friendly version of this circuit with some added flexibility while remaining very faithful to the overall tone.
The Sacred Cow has all of the drive and and character that you would expect, ranging from slightly boosted clean to a nice gain with some bite, and it sits perfectly in a mix.  Richard Fortus has been rocking one for quite some time now, and we're excited that word continues to get around!

Sacred Cow

The Extra Special takes the idea behind the highly successful Mojo Hand FX DMBL and cranks it to eleven. The Extra Special excels at the medium to higher gain tones associated with those legendary amps. Don’t be fooled though, it’s no “one trick pony." It boasts a nice range of usable sounds, from clean to mean.

Controls include the standard Volume, Gain, and Tone knobs, along with an Accent knob that acts much like a Presence or Contour control. It also features a 2-way toggle for Jazz or Rock voicings. Like all Mojo Hand FX pedals, it comes in a sturdy, die-cast aluminum enclosure with true bypass switching, powder-coated finish, and UV printed artwork.

7In Soviet Russia fuzz plays you. Like the original Limited Edition BMP-1, the BMP-2 is based on the highly sought after Russian Muff. Unlike the previous pedal, this one is more pedalboard friendly, more affordable, and has slightly higher gain transistors for even more crushing, fuzzy goodness.
