The Sacred Cow is a playful nod to the legendary and extremely expensive gold standard overdrive that has become a near-mythological classic. We sought to create an accessible, pedalboard friendly version of this circuit with some added flexibility while remaining very faithful to the overall tone. A while back we came across some forums talking about "silver" modded Klons. Ever since then, we have wanted to make a "silver" modded Sacred Cow variant. The wait is over! We have made a batch of 27 of these beautiful silver cows. This is more than just an aesthetic change. There is increased bass response and a little bit more high mid gain. It still maintains its transparent overdrive and sits in the mix perfectly.
