One Control STRAWBERRY RED OVERDRIVE DLX (SRODDLX) is the newest edition of our classic STRAWBERRY RED OVERDRIVE (SROD) that has been very popular with One Control users for its high-quality tones and superb dynamic response.
This new DLX six knob model gives you more control over your tones with finely tuned precision. The SRODDLX still retains the classic original circuit developed by Björn Juhl and One Control with an overdrive that transcends style and genre. To be able to interface with a wide variety of amplifiers and speakers, the DLX has a classic four knob tone circuit “stack” like many classic UK amplifiers – BASS, MIDDLE, TREBLE, and PRESENCE. With a single knob, this circuit can produce overdrive ranging from low bluesy tones to a hard and powerful overdrive as well as heavier distortions at the far-right side of the dial. With the DRIVE set to minimum, the SRODDLX can be used as a clean or treble booster style pedal. When the DRIVE knob is raised a bit more and the guitar volume knob lowered, the resulting clean sound can be rich with overtones and a thick responsive tone can be had, resembling older one knob tube amps. With the gain levels set higher, the SRODDLX still retains the characteristics of various guitars and amplifiers, never losing your core tone.
For many of us, the STRAWBERRY RED OVDERDRIVE has been a favorite pedal for years.
Now we have it available in this six-knob dynamic and toneful version with standard and limited edition “Japonism” artwork.

Das One Control Cranberry OverDrive ist eine Low-Gain Version des Strawberry Red OD. Neben einem verbesserten Regelbereich speziell für Sounds mit weniger Gain wurde das Voicing des Pedals gradliniger gestaltet. Das Cranberry OD eignet sich perfekt für cleane oder leicht übersteuerte Sounds und ist mit einer moderaten Kompression und einer schnellen Ansprache ein toller Lead Boost für jedes Genre.

For this reason, Bjorn Juhl and One Control decided to expand on this models success with two other models: The Cranberry and Lingonberry. The One Control Cranberry OverDrive is a lower gain version of the Strawberry Red OD. In addition to having optimized control over lower gain sounds, the filtering has been altered to allow a flatter sound with more lows and highs. The Cranberry OD is perfect for clean or light distortion effects and with moderate compression and fast response, this pedal promises a superb lead boost for any genre of music.

Das One Control Silver Bee OD bringt neuen Schwung in das Rennen der schönsten Low-Gain Overdrive Pedale. Basierend auf dem beliebten Honey Bee OD Design präsentiert Bjorn Juhl mit dem Silver Bee OD ein Pedal, das sich klanglich an den beliebten, amerikanischen Combos mit der silbernen Front orientiert und mit schimmernden Höhen einen schönen Break Up-Sound erzeugt. Während das Honey Bee eine sehr betonte, fokussierte Midrange bietet, kommt das Silver Bee OD mit einem tighten, sehr modernen Sound, der vor allem durch brillante Höhen, eine 'scharfe' Ansprache und eine subtile, Amp-ähnliche Verzerrung definiert wird. One Control STRAWBERRY RED OVERDRIVE RC is a new modified version of our classic SROD overdrive tweaked again by Björn Juhl to do the classic sound as well as some new modern tones with heightened articulation and note definition.
This is a sound that is not specific to any genre or style of music and could be used in a wide range of musical situations. The STRAWBERRY RED OVERDRIVE RC model has been specially tuned for humbucker-equipped guitars and heavy tones while still having the characteristics of a great high-end tube amplifier.
The original SROD4K was developed to be a versatile overdrive that can bring the dynamics and feel of expensive tube audio circuits to guitarists everywhere, even if playing through small solid-state combos. Our new SRODRC will operate between 9v and 18v for higher headroom operation and a bit more focused tone with wider dynamic range.
