Der One Control Little Green Emphaser wurde hauptsächlich als Pre-Driver entwickelt, je nach Setting lässt sich mit dem Pedal aber auch eine leichte Verzerrung erzeugen. So lässt sich die Stompbox je nach Bedarf als sanfter Dirt Boost oder als klassischer Pre-Driver für andere Overdrive, Distortion oder Fuzz Pedale nutzen. Der Little Green Emphaser basiert auf der Kombination aus einem Treble Boost und einem Full Range Boost, die stufenlos über den Blend-Regler vermischt werden können. Je nach Setting des Blend-Reglers wird ein anderer Frequenzbereich im Signal betont. Bei Single Coil Pickups erzielt man eher einen Treble Boost, bei Humbucker Tonabnehmern lässt sich über den Blend-Regler ein definierter, crisper Sound erzeugen der in den Transienten eine leichte Verzerrung erzeugt.  Speziell Verstärker mit britischem Voicing profitieren enorm vom Little Green Emphaser und selbst bei Bässen lässt sich das Pedal nutzen um den Klang klarer und definierter zu machen.

The One Control Little Green Emphaser is primarily meant to be used as a pre-driver however it also distorts slightly. It works both as a light dirt booster by itself but can also pre-drive distortion effects, overdrives and fuzzes. Typically, the Little Green Emphaser works best at the beginning of your signal chain. The design of a pre-driver for distortion is made with a combination of a booster and a treble booster in which both are optimized for the lowest possible noise. These were put on a panorama pot in order for them to be blended to your personal liking. Specifically for single coil pickups, you'll notice more of a treble boost, rather than straight boost. In turn, this keeps hum levels low and also adds some body to your tone. With humbucker pickups, the Blend knob was tuned to allow crispness and body. The Blend knob balances or blends the straight booster and the treble booster which allows the player to put emphasis on a specific register to further project his/her tone. Additionally, you'll notice a small amount of distortion with humbucker pickups, especially on transients. The Little Green Emphaser can be an asset with many of the British style amplifiers and finally, this pedal can also be used on electric basses to create a crisper sound.

Das One Control Lingonberry OverDrive bietet Musikern die gleiche Charakteristik wie das beliebte Strawberry Red Overdrive, es handelt sich jedoch um eine modifizierte High-Gain Version mit einer stärkeren Verzerrung und einem zusätzlichen Low Trim-Poti. Im Vergleich zum Strawberry Red bietet das Lingonberry außerdem eine deutliche Betonung im Low-End. Um diese Änderungen zu realisieren hat BJF das Signal reduziert, das erforderlich ist, um das perfekte Maß an Verzerrung und Kompression zu erzielen. Zusätzlich zur optimierten Kontrolle über Sounds mit weniger Gain wurde der Treble-Regler modifiziert um so mehr 'Biss' und einen tighteren Sound zu ermöglichen.

The One Control Lingonberry OverDrive inherits the characteristics of the original Strawberry Red Overdrive, however, it is a higher gain version, it produces a stronger distortion and a low cut trim pot has been installed. Additionally, lower-end frequencies are more predominant. In order to make these changes, BJF has reduced the signal necessary to obtain the perfect amount of distortion and compression. In addition to having optimized control over lower gain sounds, the filtering has been altered to allow a bit more bite as well as a tighter sound.

Der Sonic Blue Twanger ist ein weiteres Design aus der Amp-In-A-Box-Serie von One Control und BJF, das den legendären Sound alter Fender Blackface-Verstärker reproduziert. Wie die meisten von BJF entworfenen Pedale von One Control wird der Sonic Blue Twanger in einem superkompakten Gehäuse mit vier einfachen Regelmöglichkeiten geliefert. Der Treble-Regler arbeitet als Tone Balance (wie bei den Originalverstärkern), mit dem ein 'shelved' EQ-Setting verstärkt oder verringert wird. Volume- und Master-Regler arbeiten als Pre und Post Volume, sodass der cleane Headroom und die Verzerrung des Signals variiert werden können. An der Seite des Pedals befindet sich ein Rhythm/Lead Schalter, mit dem zwei Gain-Einstellungen ausgewählt werden können. Im Rhythm-Modus bietet das Pedal 18 dB Gain (-80 dB Noise Level) und im Lead-Modus 40 dB Gain (-74 dB Noise Level). The Sonic Blue Twanger is another design from the Amp-In-A-Box series by One Control and BJF, designed to reproduce the legendary sound of old Fender Blackface amplifiers. Like most of the BJF designed pedals from One Control, the Sonic Blue Twanger comes in a super compact housing with four simple controls. The Treble control is a tone balance (like on the original amplifiers) which increases and decreases a 'shelved' EQ setting. Volume and Master controls work as pre and post volumes allowing to vary the amount of clean headroom and distortion in the signal. On the side of the pedal is a Rhythm/Lead switch to choose between two gain settings. In Rhythm mode, the pedal provides 18 dB gain (-80 dB noise level), and in Lead mode, the pedal provides 40 dB gain (-74 dB noise level). Das Baltic Blue Fuzz Pedal orientiert sich klanglich am unverkennbaren Sound alter Muff-Effekte, bietet aber gleichzeitig eine crispe Verzerrung ohne den eigentlichen Effekt dafür 'zu opfern'. Die Schaltung des One Control BBF ist kein einfacher Big Muff Clone, nutzt aber einen ähnlichen Aufbau. Damit ist es One Control und Bjorn Juhl (BJF) gelungen eine komplett überarbeitete BJF-Schaltung in einem extrem kompakten Effektpedal zu integrieren und gleichzeitig einen der beliebtesten Sounds der letzten 40 Jahre neu zu definieren. Obwohl die Idee der Schaltung von einem klassischen Big Muff inspiriert wurde, nutzt Bjorn Juhl einen Op-Amp um modernsten Anforderungen gerecht zu werden. Ein klassischer Vintage Muff kombiniert mit den Sounds, die man eigentlich von der Triangle-Version oder dem Ram's Head erwarten würde - diese Kombination schafft das One Control Baltic Blue Fuzz mit einem crispen Sound, der straight 'nach vorn' geht.. Der Tone-Regler lässt sich einfach bedienen und bietet im kompletten Regelbereich musikalische Sounds, dabei arbeitet der Regler sehr direkt und erzeugt in jedem Setting eine direkte Veränderung im Klang.

The Baltic Blue Fuzz Pedal recreates the recognizable vintage Muff tone, while producing a crisp sound without sacrificing the effect. The One Control BBF circuit is not a Big Muff clone but shares a similar topology. One Control BJF series used an overwhelmingly small housing to provide an effect that has a renowned BJF circuit. BJF combined multiple amplifying stages and filters when designing the Baltic Blue Fuzz. Although the idea behind this design is from Big Muff, Bjorn Juhl used an Op-Amp in order to ensure stability and match modern components. Imagine the initial Big Muff tone combined with the sounds associated with the Triangle and Ram’s Head - this combination can be found when playing the Baltic Blue Fuzz. This is a pedal for creating a vintage muff sound but at the same time it emphasizes the crisp sound that comes forward. BJF added Tone control to the Baltic Blue Fuzz that is incomparably easier to use than the vintage original model. It is designed in a way so that guitar tones can be adjusted in the full knob range without being destroyed. It is also highly responsive and knob movements are reflected immediately. With the Baltic Blue Fuzz, just turning the Tone knob lets you find the sound you want.

Delay Pedale gibt es in allen denkbaren Formen und Ausführungen, von extrem komplex bis zu extrem vereinfacht. Mit dem Sea Turquoise Delay schaffen es Bjorn Juhl und One Control die Regelmöglichkeiten des Pedals zu vereinfachen und gleichzeitig die Vielseitigkeit und Qualität des Effekts auf einem extrem hohen Level zu halten. Mit drei Reglern und einem Schaltern ist das Layout dabei denkbar einfach: Level kontrolliert die Ausgangslautstärke des Pedals, Delay verändert die Delay-Time von einem kurzen Doppel-Effekt bis zu 600 ms und Feedback bestimmt die Tiefe (Depth) des Echos. Über den Kill Dry-Schalter lässt sich das Original-Signal komplett muten - perfekt um das Pedal zum Beispiel in einem parallelen FX Loop oder als Effekt für die PA oder ein Mischpult zu nutzen. Das Sea Turquoise Delay arbeitet extrem leise ohne Störgeräusche und lässt sich so auch perfekt im Studio oder natürlich auch im Live-Einsatz nutzen.

Delay pedals come in all forms, from complex to overly simplified. With the Sea Turquoise Delay, Bjorn Juhl and One Control have managed to simplify the controls while maintaining the versatility and quality of a much desired delay pedal. The Sea Turquoise Delay has only three controls and a switch. The Level knob adjusts the output of the pedal and therefore the volume of the echo. The Delay knob controls the delay time, from doubling to 600 ms. The Feedback knob sets the depth of the echo and the Kill Dry switch on the side of the pedal determines whether the dry signal is present at output or not. This switch is useful when using mixing consoles and PA systems where you may only require the effect for depth of sound and ambiance or if you're using the pedal in a parallel FX loop of your amplifier. The Sea Turquoise Delay is also extremely quiet, making it useful in the studio as well as in live situations. Like all One Control Effects pedals, the Sea Turquoise Delay is housed in a machined and anodized compact aluminum case, with only the highest quality components inside to assure years of trouble free use.
