Mit der Banshee 2 kann das Gitarren-Signal zum Verstärker geleitet werden während gleichzeitig der Talkbox-Effekt in Betrieb ist! So läuft das Gitarren-Signal über den Verstärker und der Talkbox-Effekt über ein Mikrofon und das Soundsystem. Eine weitere Dimension ergibt sich mit dem integrierten Effekt-Loop, so dass dem Talkbox-Signal oder auch dem Gitarren-Signal weitere Effekte hinzugefügt werden können. Das eröffnet ungeahnte Möglichkeiten neue Sounds zu kreieren. Eine LED zeigt den Betrieb des Banshee Effektes an. Die Preamp-Sektion der Banshee Talkbox bietet Regler für Gain, Ton und Lautstärke. Eine große Bandbreite von sauberen und verzerrten Sounds mit reichlich Sättigung kann eingestellt werden. Ein zusätzlicher Lautsprecherausgang in Verbindung mit dem internen Verstärker macht aus der Banshee ein perfektes Setup zum Üben.

The Banshee 2 gives you the ability to let the guitar signal feed your amplifier at the same time that the talkbox effect is turned on! This way you get your normal guitar signal through your amp while the talkbox effect runs through a mic (and your sound system). Rocktron has brought an exciting new dimension to the talkbox with the Banshee 2 by providing an effects loop which now lets you add other effects into the talkbox signal path, or through your guitar signal path at the same time! These new features allow you to get some wild new sounds never before done with a talkbox! Rocktron also added an active LED to tell you when the Banshee 2 effect is engaged. The Banshee models provide easy setup (unlike vintage style talkboxes which are cumbersome to hook up and can potentially damage your gear by blowing up your amp head). What makes the Banshees so unique is the included internal preamp, amplifier, and horn driver. Simply plug into the Banshee as you would any common stomp box, and run the provided "tubing" up the mic stand and into your mouth. The rest is up to your imagination as you get the most incredible sounds from your instrument (guitar or keyboard). The Banshee's preamp section features controls for gain, tone, and output level. A wide range of clean and dirty preamp tones may be dialed in with plenty of saturation for those who desire lots of gain.

Banshee 2 Amp-Talkbox

Der 2X ist im Grunde ein „doppelter HUSH“ und bietet zwei komplett getrennte Kanäle der HUSH-Rauschunterdrückung in einem einzigen kleinen Gerät, das direkt auf deinen Gitarrenverstärker bzw. -kopf oder in eine Rack-Schublade passt und so Platz auf deinem Pedalboard spart. Der HUSH 2X ist außerdem TRUE BYPASS.

Durch dieses einzigartige Design kannst du wählen, ob du den HUSH nach deinem Pedalboard und mit einem Schaltkreis in den Eingang deines Verstärkers und mit dem anderen Schaltkreis in die Effektschleife leiten möchtest, was eine neue Vielseitigkeit in einem einzigen HUSH-Gerät bietet. Du bekommst die volle HUSH-Kontrolle sowohl vor als auch in der Effektschleife deines Verstärkers! Mit dem HUSH 2X kannst du auch einen HUSH-Schaltkreis vor und einen anderen nach einem einzelnen Pedal oder mit zwei verschiedenen Pedalketten auf deinem Pedalboard/Rack verwenden. Mit Wahlschaltern kann jeder HUSH-Schaltkreis ein- oder ausgeschaltet werden.

Das Guitar Player Magazine schrieb, dass ein „HUSH“-Pedal für alle gitarrenbezogenen Rauschprobleme geeignet ist: es ist perfekt“ und “seine starken Rauschunterdrückungsfähigkeiten werden voll geschätzt.“

Um eine maximale Rauschunterdrückung zu erzielen, sollte das HUSH nach den Verzerrungs- und Modulationseffekten (Chorus, Flanger, Phaser usw.), aber vor den Delay- und Reverb-Effekten eingesetzt werden. Wenn du bereits damit vertraut bist, den Lautstärkeregler deiner Gitarre zurückzudrehen, drehe einfach deinen Verzerrer und andere Effekte in der Kette vor dem HUSH auf „ON“, drehe deinen Lautstärkeregler zurück, stelle den HUSH Threshold-Regler ein, um jegliches Rauschen zu entfernen, und schon bist du bereit!

Essentially a “double HUSH”, the 2X offers two completely separate channels of HUSH noise reduction in a single small unit designed to sit right on top of your guitar amp/head or in a rack drawer, freeing up space on your pedal board. The HUSH 2X is also TRUE BYPASS.

This unique design allows you to choose if you want to run HUSH after your pedal board and into the input of your head with one circuit, and into the effects loop with the other circuit offering new versatility in a single HUSH unit. You get total HUSH control both in front, and in the effects loop, of your amp! The HUSH 2X will also allow you to use one HUSH circuit before, and another after, a single pedal or with two different pedal chains on your pedal board/rack drawer. Selector switches allow you to turn each HUSH circuit on or off.

The same great HUSH signal cleanup is provided with up to 65dB of effective noise reduction for eliminating hiss, unwanted feedback and noise from pickups and stage lighting.

Guitar Player Magazine wrote that a “HUSH” pedal will work for all guitar-related noise problems: it’s perfect” and “its potent noise-killing abilities will be fully appreciated.”

For maximum noise reduction results, place the HUSH after your distortion and modulation effects (chorus, flanger, phaser, etc.) but before any delay or reverb effects. If you are already comfortable rolling back your guitar’s volume pot, simply turn your distortion and other effects in the chain before the HUSH to “ON”, roll back your volume pot, adjust the HUSH Threshold control to remove any hiss you hear, and you are ready to go!

Working with Mike, Rocktron developed three custom voiced settings for the Signature Wah, with the Classic setting with its "vintage" wah effect being the most used by Orlando. The Normal setting provides a more modern frequency sweep. The Bass setting is not only ideal for seven string guitars (as well as bass guitars), but also provides a new dimension to the standard wah effect on regular six string guitars.
