Mit einer Drehung des Reglers erhält man klangneutrales, pures Gain von 6dB bis hin zu erstaunlichen 25 dB! Darüberhinaus kann der Pickup Booster Breite zu dem Klang von Singlecoils hinzufügen. Bei Betätigung des Resonanz Schalters wird die Resonanzfrequenz eines Singlecoils nach unten verlagert, was einen Sound ähnlich dem eines Vintage Humbuckers ('1') oder sogar eines modernen High-Output Humbuckers ('2') erzeugt.
