Der Source Audio SA 248 Spectrum Intelligent Filter ist wahrscheinlich das flexibelste und leistungsstärkste Stereo-Filter Effektpedal, das jemals entwickelt wurde. Das Pedal verfügt nicht nur über Envelope Filter Effekte, die von den bekanntesten und gefragtesten Effektpedalen auf dem Markt inspiriert sind, sondern bietet auch die Möglichkeit, Oktavtöne und Verzerrungen zu erzeugen. Dadurch wird Spectrum zu einer clever integrierten All-in-One-Jam- und Funk-Maschine.

Für eine einfache Plug-And-Play Anwendung kommt das Pedal mit sechs wählbaren Presets, die sich über den Toggle Switch auswählen lassen. Über einen MIDI-Controller lassen sich außerdem die 128 Factory Presets auswählen. In Kombination mit dem kostenlosen Neuro Desktop Editor oder der ebenfalls kostenlosen Neuro Mobile App erkennt man erst das eigentliche Potential des Pedals. Über die Software hat man Zugriff auf einen Editor, der 25 unterschiedliche Filter, zwei parallele Filter Effekte, 11 verschiedene Envelope Follower, 14 wählbare LFO Wellenformen und 13 unterschiedliche Möglichkeiten zur Verzerrung des Signals bietet.

The Spectrum Intelligent Filter offers multiple methods of preset storage and recall. The addition of a third-party MIDI controller with USB host provides access to any of the Spectrum Intelligent Filter's 128 Factory presets. Connect the Spectrum Filter to the Neuro Desktop Editor (a free download for Mac and Windows) or the Neuro Mobile App (iOS and Android) and unlock the pedal’s true power. The Soundblox Tri-Mod Flanger by Source Audio is an evolutionary outgrowth of the classic Hot Hand Phaser/Flanger system within an accessible and portable format. It features eleven flanger effect variations each modifiable using an Envelope Follower, Hot Hand motion controller, or Low-Frequency Oscillator (LFO). Each Soundblox effects pedal is compatible with the Hot Hand motion controller—available individually in wired or wireless configurations—or a broad arsenal of onboard controls. Mit vier Reglern und drei, per Kippschalter anwählbaren Modi, bietet es bereits einiges an Kontrolle über den Sound des Tremolo Effekts. Und hier hat man bei weitem keine digitale Annäherung an Tremolo. Das Vertigo Tremolo klingt absolut wie ein echtes, tiefes und warmes Amp-Trem.
Verbindet man es via der gratis herunterladbaren Source Audio Neuro App mit dem Smartphone, eröffnet sich noch eine ganz neue Welt an Features wie progressiven Tremolo Patterns, zusätzlichen Modulationseffekten, parametrischen EQ Settings und vielem mehr. All diese Einstellungen können natürlich in den drei Kippschalter Positionen oder 128 MIDI Presets gespeichert und wieder abgerufen werden.

From the outside, the One Series Vertigo Tremolo is a very straight forward effects pedal. Four knobs, three presets accessible via toggle switch already give a lot of control over the sound of this tremolo device. And one doesn’t just get a digital approximation of a tremolo – the Vertigo Tremolo sounds absolutely like a real, deep, warm amp-trem.
Connected to a smart phone via the free Neuro App a new world of features like progressive tremolo patterns, additional modulation effects, parametric EQ settings and a lot more opens up to the user. All the settings of course can be saved to one of the three toggle positions or one of the 128 MIDI presets.
