Das Tone City Big Rumble ist ein Pedal, das über einige interessante Features verfügt und für verschiedene Musikstile geeignet ist.
Zum einen verfügt es über eine Funktion, die das Verhältnis von Originalsound und Overdrive einstellen kann. Der Gitarrist kann den Clean- und Drive-Sound mit dem Clean-Regler entsprechend mischen.

Das Pedal bietet einen Volume Boost von bis zu + 30 dB und der charakteristische 'Mid-Hump' fügt Sättigung und Sustain hinzu, wenn das Pedal in einen bereits angezerrten Verstärker gespielt wird. Es funktioniert genauso gut mit dem Clean-Kanal, um einen natürlichen, bluesigen Crunch zu erzeugen.
