The BBQ combines in an original and 100% analog circuit a high-end Buffer, Booster and eQualizer (= BBQ) in a small pedal format. Let's take a closer look at the three sections of the BBQ:
The BBQs buffer eliminates impedance matching problems and avoids annoying loss of treble and dynamics that can occur with long cables and effect pedal chains.
The BBQ is the perfect booster to overdrive an amp's input stage, but it can also help to clear up a crunchy amp (minus booster). The volume can be adjusted over a wide and practical range from -8dB to +16dB.
The extremely effective equalizer section of the BBQ (+/-15dB for each band) is so versatile that only the user's imagination sets its limits. It allows, among other things, to comfortably match signal levels or balance different instruments better. You can also add an additional sound option or gain stage to your overdrive pedal, e.g. with reduced bass and boosted mids for more punch and clarity. If the BBQ is used after an overdrive pedal, it can of course also act as a volume boost for lead parts or as a dedicated sound shaping tool for your specic drive sound.

BBQ-XL

The "SpaceTime" is a handmade echo pedal which combines in a unique way the advantages of analog and digital audio circuits. This results in a warm and deep sounding delay pedal, which is easy to operate and able to create analog delay typical self-oscillations. Your direct (dry) guitar signal is completely preserved in the analog domain - there is no latency for your original guitar signal! In a carefully designed parallel signal path only the generation of the echo signal is realized digitally.

SpaceTime v2 Delay/Echo

Das „Octavia v2" ist ein komplett analoges und in Handarbeit gefertigtes Gitarren-Effektgerät, das exakt die wilden, mit Ringmodulation gewürzten, "octave-up/OctaFuzz" Sounds produziert, die Jimi Hendrix, Jeff Beck, Stevie Ray Vaughan uva. so gerne eingesetzt haben. Im Stile des legendären Tychobrahe Octavia Pedals kommt auch hier ein spezieller Übertrager mit nachgeschalteten Clipping Dioden zum Einsatz. In der aktuellen V2-Version verrichten nun jedoch als absolute Besonderheit so genannte Schottky Dioden ihren Dienst, die dem Pedal eine ganz besondere Note verleihen und wesentlich wertestabiler als Germanium Dioden sind. Auch der "Edge"-Regler ist neu! Hiermit kann nun der Höhenanteil und das Obertonspektrum des Pedals eingestellt werden. Ganz aufgedreht entspricht der Frequenzgang der V1 Version mit maximalem Bite, Grit und Presence. Wem das jedoch zu viel ist, der kann nun "Edge" reduzieren. In der "Fuzz"-Einstellung kann zudem das "Octavia v2" als reines Fuzz (ohne "octave-up") verwendet werden. Der "Gain"-Knopf bestimmt in diesem Modus die Fuzz-Intensität.

The ‘Octavia v2’ is a completely analogue and handcrafted guitar effects unit that produces exactly the wild ‘octave-up/octa-fuzz’ sounds spiced with ring modulation that Jimi Hendrix, Jeff Beck, Stevie Ray Vaughan and many others loved to use. In the style of the legendary Tychobrahe Octavia pedal, a special transformer with downstream clipping diodes is also used here. In the current V2 version, however, Schottky diodes are used as an absolute speciality, which give the pedal a very special touch and are much more stable than germanium diodes. The ‘Edge’ control is also new! This can now be used to adjust the treble and overtone spectrum of the pedal. When fully turned up, the frequency response corresponds to the V1 version with maximum bite, grit and presence. However, if this is too much for you, you can now reduce the ‘Edge’. In the ‘Fuzz’ setting, the ‘Octavia v2’ can also be used as a pure fuzz (without ‘octave-up’). The ‘Gain’ button determines the fuzz intensity in this mode.
