Latitude Standard Tremolo

Der Tumnus hat dem Test der Zeit standgehalten und sich in zahllosen Pedal-Shootouts behauptet, wobei er oft sogar gegen das Original-Klon-Pedal gewonnen hat. Die Anziehungskraft dieses Original-Overdrive-Pedals hatte viel mit einer ganz bestimmten „geheimen“ Germanium-Diode zu tun, die vom ursprünglichen Erfinder, Bill Finnegan, als „Unobtanium“ bezeichnet wurde. Es hieß, dass diese Dioden das Herzstück des begehrten Tons waren, aber sie waren längst nicht mehr verfügbar. Trotzdem haben Wampler-Fans Brian gebeten, einen Tumnus mit der gleichen Vintage-Spezifikation der Clipping-Diode aus den frühen Klons zu bauen. Nach einer intensiven Suche fand Brian einen kleinen Vorrat dieser schwer fassbaren Dioden und verwendete sie, um eine limitierte Auflage von Pedalen zu bauen - den Germanium Tumnus.

The Tumnus has withstood the test of time and held its own in countless pedal shootouts, often coming out on top even against the original Klon pedal. The allure of that original overdrive had a lot to do with a very specific “secret” germanium diode, dubbed “unobtanium” by the original creator, Bill Finnegan. It was said that these diodes were the heartbeat of the coveted tone, but they had run out long ago. Despite this Wampler fans have been asking Brian to create a Tumnus using the same vintage specification clipping diode from those early Klons. After a massive hunt Brian found a small stash of these elusive diodes and used them to create a limited-edition run of pedals - the Germanium Tumnus.

Der Mofetta, eine Hauptstütze unzähliger Top-Session-Spieler, ehrt die Seele dieses schwer fassbaren und doch klassischen Schaltkreises, während er sein ungenutztes Potenzial offenbart.

Stell dir den Mofetta als einen aufgeladenen MOSTORTIONtm vor, wiedergeboren und verstärkt. Ich habe dafür gesorgt, dass er den klassischen, verstärkerähnlichen Overdrive, massiven Headroom und den vielseitigen 3-Band-EQ bietet, der das Original so berühmt gemacht hat. Aber ich wollte noch mehr und habe einen Texture-Schalter hinzugefügt, der echte MOSFETs in die Overdrive-Sektion des Pedals einfügt und so einen fetteren, artikulierteren Ton erzeugt. The Wampler Mofetta Overdrive/Distortion is my tribute to the MOSFET-driven magic of a 1990s classic — the MT10 MOSTORTIONtm. A mainstay of countless top session players, the Mofetta honors the soul of that elusive yet classic circuit while revealing its untapped potential.

Think of the Mofetta as a supercharged MOSTORTIONtm, reborn and amplified. I made sure that it delivered the classic, amp-like overdrive, massive headroom, and versatile 3-band EQ that made the original so famous. But I also wanted more and added a Texture Switch that introduces actual MOSFETs into the pedal's overdrive section for a bolder, more articulate tone. The Mofetta preserves everything you love about the early '90s legend with a powerful new dimension.

Der originale Ibanez® Tube Screamer® ist eines der am meisten emulierten Schaltungsdesigns aller Zeiten und hat seit seiner Veröffentlichung in den späten 1970er Jahren viele Verstärker angetrieben. Während viele Firmen Pedale im 808/TS9-Stil herstellen, war der TS10® immer ein Favorit von Brian. Das Moxie ist ein ultraflexibles, wunderbar warmes und sattes Pedal, das alles kann, von leichtem Boost bis hin zu einem düsteren Drive, der einen Amplifier in stark übersteuerte Töne versetzen kann, aber mit einem extra Biss.

The original Ibanez® Tube Screamer® is one of the most emulated circuit designs of all time and has been pushing amplifiers since it was first released in the late 1970s. While many companies create 808/TS9 style pedals, the TS10® was always a favorite of Brian’s. Capable of anything from light boost to a gritty drive that can send an amplifier into heavily overdriven tones, the Moxie is an ultra-flexible, wonderfully warm and rich pedal but with an extra bite.
