PANTHEON DELUXE DUAL OVERDRIVE

Brent Mason ist ein berühmter Session-Gitarrist aus Nashville, der seit den frühen 1990er Jahren in der Musikindustrie tätig ist. Viele kennen seinen Namen vielleicht nicht, haben aber sicher seine Arbeit gehört, sei es in Filmen, TV-Shows oder Werbespots. Er ist auch ein bekannter Komponist und Songwriter. Sein Soloalbum "Hot Wired" ist besonders für seinen herausragenden Gitarrenton bekannt und inspirierte die Entwicklung eines gleichnamigen Gitarrenpedals.

Die zweite Version des Hot Wired-Pedals (v2) wurde im Vergleich zur ersten Version weiterentwickelt, um den veränderten Anforderungen der Musikindustrie gerecht zu werden. Es bietet eine größere Vielseitigkeit, darunter wärmere Overdrive-Töne und ein "British Plexi"-Klangprofil. Das Pedal kombiniert Overdrive und Verzerrung, wobei beide Kanäle einzeln oder gemeinsam genutzt werden können, um einen vollen, satten Sound zu erzeugen.

Brent Mason is a renowned session guitarist from Nashville who has been a major figure in the music industry since the early 1990s. While many may not recognize his name, they have likely heard his work in films, TV shows, or commercials. He is also a well-known composer and songwriter. His solo album "Hot Wired" is especially famous for its exceptional guitar tone and inspired the creation of a namesake guitar pedal.

The second version of the Hot Wired pedal (v2) has been updated to meet the changing demands of the music industry. It offers greater versatility, including warmer overdrive tones and a "British Plexi" sound profile. The pedal combines both overdrive and distortion, with each channel able to be used separately or together for a rich, full sound.

Sitting in the good company of the Wampler Marshall®-in-a-Box type pedal family, the Plextortion takes a medium-to-high gain approach to getting that classic "roar" people associate with famous British amps of the late '70s and early '80s. Brian has carefully voiced this pedal to sound similar to a killer, cranked JCM800® going into a loaded 4x12 cab with Greenback® speakers. 
In other words, the sound that de¬ned early '80s rock and roll, from neoclassical shredders to heavy metal and speed metal genre-starters to hair metal guitar icons. 

If the Pinnacle is intended to do the heavy lifting of getting an authentic, precise, laser-accurate simulation of the "brown sound," the Plextortion is a generalist, capable thanks to its three-band EQ of a huge range of rock tones and with a gain range that covers classic rock to cranked up MIAB mayhem. Der Tumnus hat dem Test der Zeit standgehalten und sich in zahllosen Pedal-Shootouts behauptet, wobei er oft sogar gegen das Original-Klon-Pedal gewonnen hat. Die Anziehungskraft dieses Original-Overdrive-Pedals hatte viel mit einer ganz bestimmten „geheimen“ Germanium-Diode zu tun, die vom ursprünglichen Erfinder, Bill Finnegan, als „Unobtanium“ bezeichnet wurde. Es hieß, dass diese Dioden das Herzstück des begehrten Tons waren, aber sie waren längst nicht mehr verfügbar. Trotzdem haben Wampler-Fans Brian gebeten, einen Tumnus mit der gleichen Vintage-Spezifikation der Clipping-Diode aus den frühen Klons zu bauen. Nach einer intensiven Suche fand Brian einen kleinen Vorrat dieser schwer fassbaren Dioden und verwendete sie, um eine limitierte Auflage von Pedalen zu bauen - den Germanium Tumnus.

The Tumnus has withstood the test of time and held its own in countless pedal shootouts, often coming out on top even against the original Klon pedal. The allure of that original overdrive had a lot to do with a very specific “secret” germanium diode, dubbed “unobtanium” by the original creator, Bill Finnegan. It was said that these diodes were the heartbeat of the coveted tone, but they had run out long ago. Despite this Wampler fans have been asking Brian to create a Tumnus using the same vintage specification clipping diode from those early Klons. After a massive hunt Brian found a small stash of these elusive diodes and used them to create a limited-edition run of pedals - the Germanium Tumnus.

Der Mofetta, eine Hauptstütze unzähliger Top-Session-Spieler, ehrt die Seele dieses schwer fassbaren und doch klassischen Schaltkreises, während er sein ungenutztes Potenzial offenbart.

Stell dir den Mofetta als einen aufgeladenen MOSTORTIONtm vor, wiedergeboren und verstärkt. Ich habe dafür gesorgt, dass er den klassischen, verstärkerähnlichen Overdrive, massiven Headroom und den vielseitigen 3-Band-EQ bietet, der das Original so berühmt gemacht hat. Aber ich wollte noch mehr und habe einen Texture-Schalter hinzugefügt, der echte MOSFETs in die Overdrive-Sektion des Pedals einfügt und so einen fetteren, artikulierteren Ton erzeugt. Das Mofetta bewahrt alles, was du an der Legende aus den frühen 90ern liebst, mit einer kraftvollen neuen Dimension.

Think of the Mofetta as a supercharged MOSTORTIONtm, reborn and amplified. I made sure that it delivered the classic, amp-like overdrive, massive headroom, and versatile 3-band EQ that made the original so famous. But I also wanted more and added a Texture Switch that introduces actual MOSFETs into the pedal's overdrive section for a bolder, more articulate tone. The Mofetta preserves everything you love about the early '90s legend with a powerful new dimension.
