Das Faux Spring Reverb ist seit vielen Jahren ein fester Bestandteil auf den Boards vieler Spieler, und als es vor einigen Jahren eingestellt wurde, erhielt Brian zahlreiche Anfragen, es wieder auf den Markt zu bringen. Da er sich nicht damit begnügen wollte, einfach etwas neu aufzulegen, beschloss Brian, all das Feedback, das er von Spielern erhalten hatte, zu nutzen und ihm ein kleines Upgrade zu verpassen.

Das Ergebnis war die Geburt des Mini Faux Spring Reverb. Nach dem Motto „Wenn es nicht kaputt ist, repariere es nicht“, fügte er einfach mehr von dem hinzu, was die Spieler lieben. Mehr Decay, mehr Drippiness und mehr von dem federnden Ton, den die Spieler an den größeren Reverb-Tanks lieben. Obwohl es größer und voller klingt, entschied er sich, es in ein Mini-Gehäuse zu packen, damit es perfekt an das Ende einer Kette passt und man es sofort mitnehmen kann.

The Faux Spring Reverb has been a staple on many players boards for many years now, and when it was discontinued a few years ago Brian received numerous requests to bring it back since then. Not being one to be content with just reissuing something, Brian decided to take all of the feedback from players he had received and give it a bit if an upgrade.

The result was the birth of the Mini Faux Spring Reverb. Following the idea of “If it’s not broke, don’t fix it,” he just added more of what players love. More decay, more drippiness and more of that bouncy spring tone players love in the bigger Reverb tanks. Despite sounding bigger and fuller, he decided to condense it down into a mini enclosure to fit perfectly at the end if any chain to grab and go.

Fusion, eine relativ neue Musikrichtung, die Jazz und Rock, besonders den technischen "Shredder"-Stil der 80er Jahre, verbindet, hat Tom Quayle als eine seiner führenden Figuren. Trotz seines tiefen theoretischen Wissens fand Tom lange keinen passenden Effektpedal. Nach einer Zusammenarbeit mit Wampler Pedals im Jahr 2012 wurde das Dual Fusion entwickelt, mit zwei modifizierten Schaltkreisen aus dem Euphoria und Paisley Drive. Es bietet Klarheit, Kontrolle und einen Verstärker-ähnlichen Sound und spricht Gitarristen verschiedener Genres an.

Fusion, a relatively new genre blending jazz and rock, particularly the technical "shredder" style from the 80s, has Tom Quayle as one of its leading figures. Known for his deep theoretical knowledge and unique playing style, Tom struggled to find a pedal that matched his needs. After collaborating with Wampler Pedals in 2012, they developed the Dual Fusion pedal. It features two modified circuits from the Euphoria and Paisley Drive, designed to give Tom clarity, control, and amp-like response when stacked. The Dual Fusion has become a versatile tool for modern fusion guitarists and appeals to players of all genres.

Underdog Overdrive

Wir haben die Grundtöne eines sehr berühmten Wampler-Pedals genommen (eines, das die Eigenschaften eines berühmten gestackten, EL34-betriebenen Verstärkers hat) und beschlossen, dass dies die beste Grundlage ist, um das perfekte Fuzz zu bauen und es in einem Gerät zu liefern, das so gut und kraftvoll klingt, wie es sich anfühlt.

Mit zwei völlig unterschiedlichen Clipping-Optionen (nicht nur die einfache Silizium- oder Germanium-Option wie bei den meisten anderen) kannst du diese klassischen großen Fuzz-Sounds erreichen, die untenrum massiv komprimiert werden, oder du kannst sie straffen und sie eher wie eine Distortion reagieren lassen. Auf diese Weise erhält man alle Töne, ohne dass es zu Nebeneffekten kommt. Einige Leute sagen, es klingt wie Fuzz, aber fühlt sich an wie Distortion, also ja, du KANNST das Beste aus beiden Welten haben.

We took the base tones from a very famous Wampler Pedal (one that has the characteristics of a famous stacked, EL34 driven, amp) and decided this was the best foundation to build the perfect fuzz and deliver it in a unit that sounds as good as it feels powerful.

With two completely different clipping options (not just the basic silicon or germanium option like most) you can achieve those classic fuzz big tones that compresses massively across the bottom or you can tighten them up and have it respond more like a distortion. With this you get all of the tone with none of the side effects. Some people say it sounds like a fuzz but feels like a distortion, so yes, you CAN have the best of both worlds.
